For all nutritional purposes, we were fed dog chow as kids. GMO cereal and antibiotic poisoned cow milk. No one knew any better.
Two slices processed bread, off brand bologna, a slice of processed cheese if lucky, and topped with margarine - which the scientific consensus said was healthier than butter.

That was every kids packed lunch.
The better off kids got an individualized pack of chips and a fruit roll-up, maybe a little Debbie.

That’s how we all ate tho - about the same. Rich or poor.

Dog chow.
What’s sad is that it’s gotten worse.

Busy parents or single have forgotten the old ways or don’t have time.

Beans. Tastes good if you cook down bones for stock.

Throw it all in a crock pot.

Cheap. Fast. Unprocessed.

Those ways have been lost through time.

The sheer of scale of death and suffering is something I still can’t comprehend.
Even the men who made it back from WWI has scars spiritual and facial.

This was all pre-battlefield medicine.

smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/f…
During OCS we took a “class trip” to Gettysburg and walked the land of Pickett’s Charge.

“Wait that’s how people fought.”

Yes WWI was fought using the same tactics revealed by the Civil War to be suicide.

Try Zone 2.

I do one hour on stationary bike or long walks, 5x a week, and then 5-10 sprints (hills or on bike) 2x week to max out heart rate.

Shit works.

Zone 2 is really boring tho - feels like you’re doing nothing.

Good time for audiobooks. I’m doing 1 a week lately.
Great article on Zone 2

“A decrease in heart rate variability, an increase in resting heart rate, an increase in disturbances, less time spent in the restorative stages of sleep. And you’ll build strain faster because you’re under-recovered.” whoop.com/thelocker/podc…
- Hangovers Last 4-5 Days? “Two days after drinking, 30% of them still had suppressed recoveries below their baseline. Three days after drinking, 20% of them were still suppressed, and 7% of them we’re still suppressed 5 days after alcohol.
- Military Special Ops Case Studies. “After 4 months [on @WHOOP] we saw an 83% decrease in alcohol pre-bed. As a result, they spent 16% more time in restorative stages of sleep.”

I’m be dropping a pint tomorrow.

I got labs done 8 weeks ago - and have labs going back to 2008.

Folks.

Being a man is risky af.

Strokes happen when you’re young.

Take care of yourselves.

And take DAILY:

- Ubiquinol
- Citrus Bergamot
- Nitrosigine
Nitrosigine is cheap and well-studied.

Vasodilation = better elections too.

Most wiener problems are due to poor cardiac function.

Also, improved blood flow also boosts mental performance.

This stuff ain’t just for gym bros chasing gains.

jissn.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…
Citrus bergamot is cheaper than statins (don’t get me started on *those*) and also well-studied.

How many doctors talk about this stuff?

Where I've Been

I got a Peloton, started tracking my heart rate, and learned how to cry.

rokfin.com/article/4224/W…
When you're a public figure, everyone thinks they know you, and they hold on tight to that image. Often this means your most vocal fans become your greatest enemies. Billy Corgan said something on Joe Rogan that resonated with me, "Your fans only want you to play the hits."
It's a bit self-indulgent to cry about being famous when people line up to buy your books and watch your films, so this isn't that. I'm blessed and grateful for the support.

Four years ago when I went on 60 Minutes. Haha this did not go as planned.
Feels like a lifetime ago - but was only 4 years.

Many brag and imagine what they wound do. I went on the biggest news show ever - and won.

That’s why I got blacklisted.

They had never seen talent like this.

If you saw you know. If you didn’t see, you missed history.
The only way to get invited back on corporate media is to lose. And it’s not just me hyping myself. @joelpollak went on CNN and crushed an entire panel. You didn’t see him back on for a long long time, in fact I don’t know if he’s ever been back on.
