The only one benefitting from this ridiculous push against eradicating #COVID19 (anti-maskers, anti-vaxxers) is Putin.

It is weakening America.

The same people are weakening our democracy with voter suppression.

They are working for Russia. Plain and simple. And knowingly.
All Republicans were screaming about last year was how they wanted their lives to return to normal.

Well, this is how you get back to normal: masking and getting a vaccine.

It’s unAmerican not to do this.
Unless—obviously—you have a legitimate medical excuse not to.

🎞 Interesting documentary on the recent college admissions scandal where many have served short prison terms for allegedly bribing the way for their offspring to get into prestigious colleges/universities, using Rick Singer’s “side door” method.

imdb.com/title/tt141117…
❓ But the more important question is: what about the “back door” method, where parents donate exorbitant sums of money to these same prestigious colleges/universities and their offspring miraculously get accepted?

propublica.org/article/the-st…
The parents are free and their sons and daughters have Ivy League educations.

You’d think the institutions would be embarrassed that these people—who obviously aren’t as intelligent as their typical students—are flaunting their ill-gotten educations.

Everyone who cares about Alexei Navalny should tweet out this video that he did, exposing Vladimir Putin’s abhorrent corruption.

The U.S.—or one of our allies—needs to step in and take action to save Navalny before he dies. Not after.

Then read this excellent interview with twice-poisoned Vladimir Kara-Murza.
Note: the video has English subtitles. Although it is long, it is definitely worth watching the whole thing.

🎞 I don’t think I’ve ever been so blown away by a film in my life. It’s rough. It’s bone-tinglingly scary, devastating, brutal, suspenseful, heartbreaking...with a very small glimmer of hope.

WelcometoChechnya.com
Putin’s strongman in Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has waged war on the LGBTQ community by kidnapping, torturing & raping them, forcing them to turn in their gay friends, sometimes killing them or returning them to their families and directing their families to kill them.
With the help of human rights organizations and lawyers, some of the victims have been able to flee, but the main subject of the documentary was not able to get justice in Russia after filing charges. 🇷🇺

That’s not a shocker.
