This is the full roster of candidates for #Pennridge school board — you can see some have “cross-filed” which means they are on both Dem & GOP ballots for the May 18 election. Many of them *have* submitted their profiles to nonpartisan ⁦@LWV⁩ 👍 (but not all😕)
Noting here that the first 4 candidates (listed alphabetically) are also all endorsed by extremist right #KKISpac, and all only filed on the Republican slate for #Pennridge school board.
Chaikin running for #Pennridge has nothing to say to nonpartisan League of Women Voters as Pennridge district residents prepare to vote. But she has plenty to say in fringe forums.

Former FBI @RepBrianFitz is a #TrumpEnabler & part of the "militant wing of the Republican Party" who attracted #ProudBoys to rally outside his #PA01 office last Dec.

He gifted #WhiteNationalists with an official letter to BillBarr/DoJ in 2019 demanding a crackdown on antifa.

🦠There was a recent article about Charlie Kirk's TPUSA paying teens 💵 to post his messaging on social media.

In #PA01, there is a TPUSA chapter in @PennridgeSD. Some of this TPUSA club's postings parrots Charlie Kirk on #COVID19 disinformation (threading more below, shortly)
TPUSA has a proTrump affiliate @/TrumpStudents which is why there are close ties between the Trump family & Charlie Kirk. Here, an effort to downplay COVID19 by casting doubt on infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci in order to elevate Trump. #PA01

And again. @PennridgeHS's TPUSA chapter. Discrediting science, spreading doubt and fear about #COVID19 in #PA01. At the behest of Charlie Kirk and Trump.

These concerns for #PA01 & 🇺🇸were well-founded. We know now from #Woodward's book that the Trump admin & GOP were minimizing the spread and health risks of #COVID19.

@RepBrianFitz🤥 made his false statements on Mar 23, which were debunked by @PolitiFact the next month.
@RepBrianFitz started & co-chaired a House #CoronavirusTaskForce on March 3, which was to make #COVID19 "facts" available to his #PA01 & the US public. He cited his House #ForeignAffairs experience as pertinent to recognizing/preparing for global crises.
