Let this sink in—While India hospitals plead for life-saving oxygen and countless #COVID19 patients die, 🇮🇳 Prime Minister @narendramodi is pushing ahead with a major $1.8 billion parliament new construction—including new mansion for its Dear Leader.
cnn.com/2021/05/06/ind…
2) “The decision to continue with the project in the capital, New Delhi, has infuriated the public and opposition politicians, who have pointed to the apparent disconnect in pouring millions into a construction project amid its worst-ever public health crisis.”
3) Many have questioned the timing of the project and said that the money could have been used to build hospitals or oxygen plants. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticised saying Modi should put people's lives at the centre amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis google.com/amp/s/www.indi…
4) bad time for a new presidential palace.
5) The worst most horrible time to build a new presidential mansion.
6) Can we find any worse time in history for someone to build a presidential palace in India???
7) India’s death count is likely headed to well over 1 million very soon.
8) India has more Covid per day than all others combined. Wow.
9) Whisper… solve the logistics bottlenecks in the Covid aid… not the logistics in your presidential palace Dear Supreme Leader @narendramodi. The people need oxygen and medicines more.

📍IVERMECTIN & COVID—Merck, the company that makes Ivermectin (could make a lot of money)—declares no benefit for own drug…

"No scientific basis for potential therapeutic effect against #COVID19".

➡️ @jairbolsonaro should stop peddling it to 🇧🇷 people. merck.com/news/merck-sta… Image
2) Yet, that is just what @jairbolsonaro did again just a few days ago… he doubled down on ivermectin (despite Merck the maker of the drug denying any benefits for Covid!!!) google.com/amp/s/www.cnnb…
3) Merck: “No scientific basis for a potential therapeutic effect against COVID-19 from pre-clinical studies;
No meaningful evidence for clinical activity or clinical efficacy in patients with COVID-19 disease, and;

⚠️15% of all #COVID19 deaths in Ireland🇮🇪 are from cross-infection at the hospital. Not enough airborne safeguards. Airborne denial➡️endangerment.

📍Whoever denied airborne for a year need to be held accountable for the hospital-acquired infection deaths.

2) All the aerosol experts knew there was airborne transmission of a **respiratory virus**. Yet so many downplayed the risks of airborne.
3) Yet the so-called “Infection Prevention Society” thinks hygiene and hand sanitizers and “enhanced cleaning is what’s more important to mention somehow. These dinosaurs need to GTFO.

BREAKING—U.S. FDA has just expanded the emergency use authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer-BioNTech #COVIDVaccine to include adolescents 12 through 15 years of age. #COVID19

2) “The data to support the EUA in adolescents down to 12 years of age is based on immunogenicity and an analysis of COVID-19 cases. The immune response to the vaccine in 190 participants, 12 through 15 years of age, was compared to the immune response of 170 participants,”
3) “16 through 25 years of age. In this analysis, the immune response of adolescents was non-inferior to (at least as good as) the immune response of the older participants.

Doctors in India are concerned about an increase in a highly fatal fungal infection affecting cases & recently recovered from #COVID19. Mucormycosis, is a mold that attacks the respiratory tract, potentially eroding facial structures & harming the brain.🧵
nytimes.com/2021/05/09/wor…
2) “It is a fungus that has a strong relation to diabetes,” he added. “If the person is not diabetic, it is very uncommon that the person would have mucormycosis.”
3) Dr. K. Srinath Reddy, who leads the Public Health Foundation of India, said a large number of the recent reported mucormycosis cases were of hospitalized coronavirus patients who had been discharged after their recovery.

☮️PEACE NOT WAR: “We urge you not to cave to [Trump’s] failed approach to Iran,” 50 officials wrote to @POTUS. “We have seen the net effect of that: A larger Iranian nuclear program and a greater risk of war with Iran.”

2) During the 2020 presidential race, Biden harshly condemned former President Donald Trump’s Iran policy, specifically his “reckless” decision to abandon the deal, the signature foreign policy achievement of his predecessor Barack Obama.
3) After pulling the United States out of the deal, the Trump administration reimposed brutal economic sanctions that had a devastating impact on ordinary Iranians, including depriving them of medicine and other basic humanitarian aid,

FAKE REMEDIES being peddled across India to “protect” against #COVID19. It’s total nonsense.

As both an epidemiologist and a firmer nutrition researcher who looked at the study, there is no evidence to support benefit of Chyawanprash. It’s pandemic profiteering. My thread 🧵
2) it’s horseshit nonsense.

Chyavanprash is a cooked mixture of sugar, honey, ghee, Indian gooseberry jam, sesame oil, berries and various herbs and spices. It is prepared as per the instructions suggested in Ayurvedic text.

But study showed no effect.

3) bad journalism / misleading author quotes:

This is false ❌— “Chyawanprash Can Protect From Severe Infection Of Covid-19: Ayurvedic Study”
