8) you might see Ivermectin “case control” studies showing some claimed benefit. Don’t trust them. Hospital case control studies are notoriously unreliable design type in epidemiology. You need to be an epidemiologist to know when it is good or bad. Don’t trust “caco” normally.

12) My take — I’ve heard from people who say that given COVID is so intractable to many, there are pro business govts who push HCQ and Ivermectin as miracle drugs to allay people’s fears and get them back to work—it’s misleading of course, but I see why and how it’s alluring.
