Thread from @michaelfarris, constitutional law attorney. (The link I tweeted is to his post. Just because it’s on Facebook doesn’t mean it’s an invalid argument or source.)

Jesus affirms that marriage is between a man and a woman only (Matt 19:1-12), and affirms marriage is the only context where a sexual relationship is moral. This eliminates any context where homosexuality is moral. See also Rom 1:26–27, 1 Cor 6:9–10, and 1 Tim 1:9–10.
Consent, harm to society, and other intellectual based "proofs" are not the issue. A person cannot claim to be a Christian and consistently intentionally disregard God's rules of morality—any of them.
We have been given all that we need to live rightly and grow in the knowledge of Truth and obey it. Faith is more than belief. It is action and living according to sincerely held belief. This is what "exercise of religion" means.
🚨@TeamTrump filed lawsuit in Pennsylvania. Key points:
➡️682,479 mail-in allots without review by political parties
➡️Dem-majority counties provided no meaningful access or actual opportunity to review mail-in ballots
➡️Dem-heavy counties violated mandates of Election Code
➡️Dem-heavy counties engaged in pre-canvass activities prior to Nov 3, 2020 to notify voters to allow them to cure ballot deficiencies by voting provisionally on Election Day or getting a replacement ballot.
➡️GOP-heavy counties followed the rule of law, unable to cure ballots.
➡️Dems egregious conduct, evidenced by sworn statements, is misconduct including ignoring legislative mandates concerning mail-in ballots which amounted to more than 2.6M of the approx 6.75M votes in PA.
➡️PA officials also mailing second unsolicited mail-in ballots to voters
THIS MOMENT was huge today. President @realDonaldTrump took a firm stand for legitimate authority over our nihilistic postmodern society that denies objective truth. 1/
God ordained civil government, church government, and family government under His ultimate authority. 2/
Our Commander in Chief and seat of civil government recognizing the importance of the Church as an institution necessary to a well-ordered, just, and peaceful society is truly one of the greatest pictures and moments in American history. 3/
@TeamTrump rejects Twitter's blatantly partisan attempt to 'fact check' the President on election integrity. Twitter falsely undermined the truth and opinion of his tweet, thereby misleading the American public on the valid concerns with mail-in ballots. 1/
FACTS: Mail-in balloting increases the chain of custody of a ballot and thus increases the incidents of fraud. Without mail-in balloting, there can't be vote harvesting, which is a key attempt of Democrats to undermine important safeguards to election security. 2/
Without mail-in balloting, there is ZERO chance of ballots being stolen or not cast on time. 3/
President @realDonaldTrump: Says he MAY exercise authority textually granted in the Constitution.
Twitter: Immediately takes remarks out of context; presumes to be constitutional scholars.
How many more times does Trump have to win before you quit overreacting?
THREAD: /1
Twitter “experts” are saying the President is threatening to adjourn Congress JUST if they don’t vote on his nominees. But that is not the precise the constitutional argument the President articulated. /2
Article II, Sec. 3 says the President "may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper" /3
American attorneys have been litigating the inherent tension between fundamental individual rights & limited government powers since 1803. Our constitutional convention in 1787 was focused on this tension, & world history’s failed attempts. 1/
So far, we’ve done a good job as a Nation protecting rights that are fundamental but not absolute, and providing government power that is limited, not totalitarian. 2/
This pandemic will present new facts for litigation, but the principles of law and our Constitution will continue being applied. Our Founders provided a system of government that can and will resolve this tension in the interests of ordered liberty. 3/
