What do the practitioners of CRT, which holds that white people in a white supremacist society only permit progress for nonwhites when doing so also benefits whites, say about their own elevation to cultural hegemony?

This is not meant as some rhetorical gotcha. TNC was genuinely confused and troubled that so many white people wanted to genuflect at his feet, and rather than step into the role of guru, withdrew from public disputation and went to write comic books.

Do CRT exponents see the sudden cultural dominance of CRT as itself an example of interest convergence that ultimately benefits whites or do they see it as a break and deliverance from this process?

Calling intersectional Kendi-DiAngeloism "Critical Race Theory" was always going to fall prey to the selective pedantry of the left professoriat

It had to become much coarser, stupider, and more propagandistic to arrive at this point where this is being taught to STEM teachers...

But really all the fundamental errors in reasoning and proportionality were present in those articles appearing in Harvard Law Review in 1983

Open letter from employees about Believer editor who resigned after accidentally exposing hisgenitals on Zoom, cites "an expectation to divulge personal stories of trauma."

Rather than wokeness run amok, this may be a kind of revolt against wokeness.

Rather than claim that the genital image "traumatized" them, the workers are in fact revolting against an implicit demand that they trade trauma stories for recognition.

"Freedom from the oppressive demand to merchandise one's personal pain" is probably the most important conceivable intervention in today's literary world...

What should one do when one sees a casual acquaintance whom one has not spoken to in many years having a protracted mental breakdown on social media?

This was on IG video, not Twitter, so it’s quite explicit

Were it not for social media the chances of my seeing this person again in my life would be entirely random. Neither of us would call the other.
