Before #TNElections , I asked some farm-workers I know about their vote & the ladies, without batting an eyelid, said, "We're voting for the IPS Officer!"
I explained you were in BJP & as per your alliance, @AIADMK was contesting Thanjavur
They thought for a moment & said, "In that case, DMK!"
I was shocked & asked why & without any advice from @PrashantKishor , they said, "Because they're winning this election!"
You have tremendous grassroots goodwill; pl encash it
You can win the next election, if you do these 10 things:
1 Stand alone, not as part of an alliance with corrupt AIADMK: There is a widespread belief in TN that all politicians are thieves எல்லோரும் திருடர்கள்
2 Start organization-building TODAY:
With clean, committed leaders at every Panchayat, Ward, Municipal, Assembly
Undertake activities to keep cadre engaged, make a difference & win hearts
Don't give a free ride to DMK
Groom candidates for these posts starting TODAY
3 Contest EVERY election: There will be multiple elections fought. Credit Societies, Dairy societies, sports bodies, student bodies, trade unions, Panchayat, MLCs etc.
Fight EVERT SINGLE ONE as if that were the ONLY election that matters.
4 Spearhead the movement to reclaim Hindu temples. An awakened & empowered Hindu Samaj will be unstoppable. Appeasement is not respected, and yields zero results. The results in #AssamElection2021 are a clear example
Question is "Will we ever learn THIS lesson?"
5 Build a strong, credible, independent social media presence
Bypass MSM, you can't depend on Sun or Jaya
AsiaNet may be owned by @RajeevChandrasekar , but it is more profitable to spew anti @BJP4India vitriol.
Shadow Cabinet Ministers will have expertise in that Ministry, track & monitor EVERY action by corresponding Minister, like man-to-man marking in football
Don't let DMK get away with whatever decisions or actions they take
7 With DMK's propensity for violence & disrespect for women, start self-defense classes for women & organize self-defense units in BJP-supporting neighbourhoods
Police in non-BJP governed States are lethargic; Hindus can't outsource their security to a Govt
8 GoI Schemes
Most schemes have a Central & State component. So do taxes on fuels
States use this to their advantage to the hilt & no goodwill or credit is shared with GoI or the BJP
make bring in this URGENT administrative change wherein beneficiaries are informed of Central & State component. Every petrol bunk must prominently display Central & State components of taxes. This will eliminate unnecessary (& misleading politics around this)
10 Last & least palatable: BJP HQ has zero understanding of #Tamizh mindset
Be prepared to stand up to them if they make decisions that hurt the interests of the TN unit of the party
Being able to stand up to power, to protect TN interests, is EXTREMELY important
I hope and pray that you are successful henceforth
They say a week is a long time in politics
You have 5 years to turn this around @BJP4India once had 2 MPs in #LokSabha
You have 4!
The prayers and blessings of all nationalists are with you
Jai Hind

This is a verbatim excerpt of an account by Mrs Harsha Oza, wife of India's Ambassador to Sweden when PM Rajiv Gandhi visited Stockholm in 1988, #Bofors was already in the open
The snippet was published in June 1999, last two tweets are SHOCKING!
Sonia Gandhi, together with her children Rahul & Priyanka, accompanied PM Rajiv Gandhi on his official visit to Stockholm in January 1988. As per prescribed protocol, I, Harsha Oza as the wife of Indian Ambassador, was required to escort & accompany Sonia Gandhi
on her visits to art galleries, museums, schools, etc., as per separate programme arranged for her by the Swedish authorities, while Rajiv Gandhi was occupied with his schedule of official meetings & discussions with his counterparts.
