.@MichelleUgenti's signature piece of legislation #SB1485 is going to @dougducey. If signed, it will remove registrants from permanently receiving a mail ballot if they have not voted at least once in two cycles (4 years). It is not retroactive.
This bill broke the normally unified voice of the county recorders. Most remained neutral while Pima recorder @GabriellaCKelly actively opposed.

If a registrant chooses to vote in a municipal election that will also block their removal from the early list.
