1/Two countries on the world map were ideologically-borne: Pakistan & Israel. The difference is,Israel is one with an expansionist agenda and these designs are exemplified through its occupation of Palestinian rights & territories. (THREAD) @abasitpak1
2/Israeli expansionist agenda envisages its rule all the way up to KSA even. These designs are a disruption towards peace specially with the incompetency of orgs like Arab league and the OIC. Speeches alone are not enough to bring pressure on Israel.
3/The US influence and the Israeli influence within US will remain the greatest obstruction in resolving the conflict. For 🇵🇰 this creates anxiety not only from a state pov but also a religious one.
4/ the so called liberal rule of law and international cooperation remains hypocritical towards matters of Palestinian freedom. Perhaps the worst of all is the fact that Muslims themselves are on diverging lanes.
5/ Speeches are definitely an important facet but where is the action oriented agenda in all of this? Are the countries condemning this conflict willing and capable to diplomatically or worse militarily resolve this?
Where does the end lie? A cease-fire is not an achievement.

1/This piece is full of straight facts! Such an in-depth & an impeccable analysis! So glad I came across it. The entire reading was worth it but below are some points that’s lingered around for a while! #IndoPacific#Eurasia#SouthAsia#SoutheastAsia#AsiaPacific
2/Thus, South Asia will witness growing competition between China and India over ‘hearts and minds’ in each of these countries, even as there might be diplomatic efforts towards the normalisation of relations between New Delhi and Islamabad in the future.
3/ Logically, the US regards India as a significant and reliable partner in creating a counterweight to China’s overwhelming presence in South and Southeast Asia.
