Think about this

You grow a Twitter to 10k followers in 3-6 months

You meet people along the way (also growing to 10k+)

Create a *high quality* product with great marketing

Promote with your network and get 100,000+ eyes on it in a day

Grow more and repeat

Run the numbers
I have yet to see this level of network quality/impressions on another platform in such little time
"How do I grow to 10k in 3-6 months?!"

I can't answer that in one tweet, nor a thread

But I'll give a brief rundown of what you can do right now

1. Study the fuck out of something that interests you and other people

- self-improvement
- web dev
- marketing
- photography
- etc
2. Become proficient and experienced enough to articulate your own thoughts on the topic

This doesn't take too long

You can follow the build in public route where you teach what you learn on the way

This is powerful because you are helping people at your same level
3. Be social

This is what destroys most accounts

Twitter is proving to be the greatest networking platform out there

Reach out to people behind you, with you, and ahead of you and talk to them like a NORMAL person

That is how the best connections are formed
4. Network in public

Aside from DMing people, interact with others content

Add on to others insights (don't just repeat them)

Act like you are texting a friend, but in the replies

This is important for smaller accounts
5. Balance tweeting for growth and to nurture

You can tweet your raw thoughts all day and get nowhere if people don't care about your raw thoughts

Tweet what people are interested in to grow

Tweet your raw thoughts to be relatable
You must find a balance between treating twitter as a business (providing niche value and connecting with high value people) and treating it as a huge groupchat with your friends

Go to far in one direction and you'll have a bad time

10 Things I’ve Learned From Writing on Twitter for a Little Over a Year

1) You’re ideas are valuable. Some more than others. The market decides.

2) People will try to misinterpret you and continue to misinterpret you to protect their ego.
3) 10 times out of 10, arguing with an anonymous profile in the replies is not worth it.

4) You can make an extraordinary amount of money just by emulating what others do.

5) Continuously generating new ideas for content will change how you view the world.
6) If something isn’t working, change it. You will never know what could have been if you are watching from the sidelines.

7) Cultivating emotional intelligence will improve your life more than any self help book ever could.

If you are a current or aspiring creator, coach, or freelancer

This is for you

I'm going to show you how to charge more, sell more, and land more clients

// MEGA THREAD //
For those that don't know, Twitter is very easy to grow on compared to other platforms

- Emulate good tweets with your own perspective

- Reply to other accounts to get eyeballs on a small profile

- Make friends, give each other tips and grow together

- Pay for growth
- Have a clickable profile picture and a bio that tells people what you teach

In a nutshell, that's it - plus, this isn't a thread on Twitter growth

This is a thread on not falling into the trap that other Twitter/social media accounts are in

That one time I took magic mushrooms...

A thread
Preface: this is not advice, just a story

Do your research and use your own judgment if you decide to consume psychedelics

My experience wasn't *extremely* profound and was definitely not what I expected

Nonetheless, I believe it is worthy of a thread

Lets dive in
A group of 8-10 friends and myself planned a weekend trip to a cabin in the woods

Specifically to put ourselves in a good environment when we ingest the mushrooms

We booked the AirBNB

Drove up

Said hello to everyone

And our DJ buddy put on a small scale show for us

Thread - The 2 Pillars of the Good Life:
- Pillar 1 -

Iteration - a procedure in which repetition of a sequence of operations yields results successively closer to a desired result.

Iteration is evolution. Constant improvement.

When things go wrong, try something else.

When something works, repeat it.
Lifting weights = iteration

You are repeating the same process week by week, year by year, to build and maintain your health. (And look sexy)

Morning routines = iteration

Find a routine that gets you up, clears your head, and pushes you to create. Repeat for consistent mood.

7 Harsh Truths About Online Business

(It may not be for you)

// THREAD //
Everyone talks about online business like it is the holy grail of making money

I have yet to see someone break down the bad sides of online biz

So, that is what we are going to do today
1) You May Not See Good Money (for a WHILE)

There is one common theme I've noticed between successful online biz owners

Nearly all of them tried 5-10 different business models before committing to one

Then, it took them 6 months to a year to start getting a decent "paycheck"
