Israel is a relatively young democracy that emerged shortly after WW2 in allied occupied territory. 1948 to be exact.

What many don’t realize is that at the end of the war, just like at the end of WW1, occupied territories were carved up and borders redrawn.

Those in power felt it was their purview to arbitrarily and autocratically determine the fate of nations and political special interests to claim territory and rejig world order.

WW1 leaders had reassigned territory of the former Ottoman Empire into the nation states of today.

WW2 political leaders did the same with Germany, Eastern Europe and Israel.

Know your history or keep your opinions to yourself.

After Israel was established as a sovereign nation in 1948, many Jews chose to move to a Jewish state.

Solving the European concern for the large Jewish diasporas throughout Europe.

It was NOT just Germany that had issues with the Jewish populations that had moved into Europe in medieval (dark ages) times. Jewish persecution has a long history in Europe.

Prior to WW2 there were estimated 9 million Jews in Europe. After the war when 6 million (2/3) had been exterminated, many left Europe and emigrated elsewhere. Israel being a prime example.

Israel was created to provide Jews with a homeland.

That was relatively simple since Jews have believed in their status as “God’s chosen people” since emancipation from Egypt by Moses.

Religious text solidifies the belief that lands surrounding Jerusalem were given to the Jews who left Egypt and wandered the desert for 40 years.

Is it truth and fact or creative dogma?

That is the central issue in Middle East relations. Did God intervene and fell the walls of Jericho, permitting the Jewish people to murder every man woman and child behind the crumbled walls? Or is that a sanitized retelling of genocide?

That’s the central issue in Israel-Palestinian relations.

You will not find any global leader challenging the Old Testament belief in Jewish exceptionalism.

In fact the last century or so it’s been propagated by both Jews and evangelical Christians.

Except the European version has been modified to include evangelical Christians as the new chosen people of god.

Dispensationalists believe the New Testament reassigned Christians as the people with special status in god’s favour and bequeathed North America as their homeland.

That’s why Dominionist Christians and Orthodox Jews have partnered to secure Israel for Jews and North America for Evangelical Christians.

This is the meta narrative that motivates the Dominionist Christian political movement.

Southern slave states of the US didn’t invent the belief in their own superiority as a race or cultural entity. Belief in special status provided by god did.

Which is why the global decline in religious faith has Dominionists in a panic to destroy liberalism, science & truth.

This biblical narrative has been used multiple times to rationalize murder and genocide.

Always using the rationale that their deity protects their behaviour in claiming a land base and exterminating those who stand in the way of that objective.

Until that meta narrative is challenged, disputed and rejected, this type of rationale will continue.

Humanity has been at this pivotal point several times throughout history.

But the established biblical meta narrative has always won out. Producing genocide after genocide.

Does that sound like an easy task? How does one navigate through millennia of faith doctrine and belief to arrive at a solution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict? Without choosing one faith over another and without trampling religious freedom?

Add to the mix the involvement of evangelical Christianity attempting to bring about the end of the world as fast as possible and trigger the second coming. That adds a whole new dimension to Middle East peace.

None of this includes geopolitical interests of global powers, nearby nation states and multinational corporations invested in the region.

Anyone who has the temerity to view this problem as having a simple solution is an ignorant poop head.

People with brilliant intelligence, vast knowledge of all three religious faith’s dogma, and complete historical knowledge have pondered this situation for centuries.

But sure, PMJT is going to solve the problem by signalling his virtues to the world. Ditto with Biden.

Or any other world leader for that matter.

The notion is as preposterous as when pigs learn to fly. When hell freezes over.

The resolution involves challenging the long engrained meta narrative that the deity for all three Abrahamic religions favours one over the other.

Jews, Christians and Muslims all have the same deity. A few details in messianic belief separates all three. But the deity is the same god.

It’s like 3 teenagers arguing about who dad loves best.

There is no resolution until dad says he has no favourite child. He loves them all equally but has a different relationship with each one.

Now translate that to religious faith.

There is NO SIMPLE SOLUTION!

Israel is at the centre of the Dominionist Christian political movement. The place on earth where all three Abrahamic faith systems compete for god’s favour, the land base and political power.

And it has been for centuries.

But virtue signalling from the globe’s leaders will solve it all tomorrow. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Do you realize how profoundly ignorant the belief in a simple solution is? If you don’t, you’re contributing to the problem.

This is the foundation of systemic issues. Every political system is based on the belief in this narrative.

If you want meaningful systemic change to global institutions with bias against class, gender and race, that’s the hurdle blocking your path to success.

There are NO SIMPLE SOLUTIONS!

Faith in god is in an existential fight for relevance and power retention.

Learn some history, examine your own biases, challenge your own beliefs.

We are powerless to stop the current genocide in Palestine. Powerlessness is devastating.

Realizing the limits to your political power is one of the most difficult tasks to achieve.

Writhing in agony while people are murdered senselessly is traumatic.

Stop blaming others who have no more power to shift the global paradigm than you do.

The faithful are in a fight to the death to retain their belief in their own superiority.

The solution is no faith should claim special favour in a deity’s eyes.

How simple is that to implement globally?
