20 tweets that suck to read but some of you need.

Thoughts from a formerly overweight, pessimistic 9-5er.

// THREAD //
You get happy seeing others win, but it also triggers some anxiety within you.

It's ok, you're human.
You believe a home-cooked meal is, by definition, healthy.
You keep saying you're really sticking to the diet, but in reality, you keep snacking an extra 800 calories per day.

This tweet isn't just about dieting.
Your lack of purpose is killing you.

You just don't know it and assume it's normal to escape into Netflix, gaming, porn, liquor, and food.
You hate being out of shape.

You don't trust yourself to kick the bad habits.
Your relationship with your parents sucks.

I know they messed up, but like you, they had no clue what they were doing.
You struggle in your relationships and keep blaming others.

The only way forward is to turn inward, my friend.
You lose your temper because you're insecure.

Stop thinking you're an alpha. It looks stupid.
You are obsessed with what you don't have, rather than all the crap you DO have.

Know there are billions out there dying to be you.
You don't want to look like a young Arnold, you just want to look good naked.
You think the grass is greener elsewhere.

It's not.

Water your own damn lawn first.
If you never cook your own meals you're either:

1. Lazy
2. Making excuses
2. Prioritizing the wrong things

You're an adult. Cook your own damn food.

(unless you're balling, then let your butler do it)
You feel like you're not living, but being lived.

Your biz/career is important, but you need to slow it down and find a balance.
You need to talk less when you don't know something.

Stop letting your ego bullshit its way out of things.

Normalize saying "I don't know, let me look into it more".
You give the best advice ever.

If only you knew how to follow your own counsel.
You don't fully know who you are.

This makes defining and achieving your goals even harder.

(Don't worry, those you look up to don't have it all figured out either)
You settle for mediocrity.

You CAN get in epic shape.
You CAN build a million-dollar business.
You CAN be a confident, loving partner.

You just have to believe it first.
You surround yourself with those that settled for less.

It's limiting your potential.

Find people that want to grow with you instead.

Stop consuming social media mindlessly, and start creating content and FIND YOUR TRIBE.
You think you're too old to start winning.

You fail to understand that in 2021, even at 40, you're not even at the half-time show.

Let's go!
If you think your kids are stopping you from building an empire, you're doing it wrong.

They should be your driving force.

Not an excuse.

How To Use Focus To Achieve The Goals You Fear

(The forgotten art of getting sh*t done)

// THREAD //
Your ability to focus often marks the difference between your success and failure.

It's a skill that's lacking in a lot of us these days.

Thank you smartphone addiction.

This thread has tips to:

- Boost your mindset
- Increase earning ability
- Improve odds of success
We were never taught how to concentrate in school, and focussing on tasks we don't enjoy is really difficult.

Sadly the tasks we don't enjoy reap the greatest benefits though.

The good news is: your concentration is like a muscle.

You can practice and train it to be better.

Thinking of starting a business?

Challenge your beliefs first.

6 obstacles to overcome so you can win big.

// THREAD //
How you feel and think directly affects your business.

We all know this but we don't want to confront our demons and assume we'll be fine either way.

Think you can get away with negativity and self-defeating mechanisms in your business?

You're wrong.
You have to recognize and acknowledge the following mechanisms before they destroy your business.

Here are 6 of the common obstacles to overcome.

Most of which I had to conquer myself as well.

Feeling unfulfilled?

5 signs your life needs to change.

// THREAD //
1. You Make Just About Enough At Your Job

You feel chained in your easy, low-stress comfort zone and ignore what your heart is telling you.

That inner friction is eating at your soul.

You choose to ignore it though.

Because, well, next month you'll get that paycheck!

Right?
2. You Pick Up One Bad Habit After Another

You know you should drop them.

Somehow, you never manage to.

Stack the Netflix onto the Disney+.

Stack the mindless shopping for shit you don't need onto your gaming addiction.

Anything to escape feeling things we don't like.

How To Conquer Yourself & Retire Your Parents

6 lessons you should apply on your path to greatness.

(number 4 is all you need to get started)

// THREAD //
What is your biggest desire in life?

It's not making a gazillion dollars.

It's what that money allows you to do.

It's about owning all 24 hours of the day.

It's about what it would allow you to do.

My biggest desire is retiring my parents.

Here's how I'm doing it.
1. The Power Of 'Yet'

Decide on your goal.

In my case: retiring my parents.

Understand that you're going to have to get out of your comfort zone.

You don't know how to code YET.

You don't know how to do email marketing YET.

You don't have millions YET.

You will.

How To Stop Feeling Like A Failure After 30

Confessions of a former loser who's turned his life around

(& who believes you will too)

// THREAD //
You look around you and feel tiny.

You feel like your whole life is a chain of disappointments.

You feel your parents are ashamed of you, or at the very least you feel you're letting them down.

You've had some minor achievements, but you still feel 'inferior'.

I feel you.
Most people around you are off being successful, happy, and accomplished. Or so you believe.

They aren't.

Sure, they might have or earn more.

But you aren't what you have or do not have.

You are a collection of your experiences, your thoughts, and your actions.

Confront Your Victim Mentality And Unlock Your Greatness

Tips for those that have potential but have to unearth it first

// THREAD // Image
From age 18 to 36 I lived as if things were

happening 'to' me. Not for me.

I felt powerless. Negative. Pessimist.

If you're reading this, you'll know what I mean.

It is a coping mechanism you learned.

Know that it can be unlearned.

Here's how to recognize & conquer it:
1. You Dramatize Everything

Look, I've been there. No judgment here.

You allow yourself to believe the tiniest inconvenience will

be the end of the world. You always assume the worst.

Guess what? The universe listens to those thoughts and

will give you exactly that.
