Reports this evening from Washington say that President Biden will not pursue any further efforts to block the completion of #NordStream 2. This is as expected because the greater priority for the White House is to improve relations with Germany.
Berlin has almost made an end of threats to NS2 as a condition. In any event, the pipeline is almost complete and #Gazprom has enough resources to finish the job. This news, plus #Brent trading near $70 per barrel, should see a further gain for the #ruble this week.#OOTT #Russia
