now: someone accidentally fell into a time portal. there is nothing we can do about this

i can't even focus on this episode, i'm still thinking about how quark is adamantly about equal rights but somehow ended up being the one making novel arguments for them in real time, and this isn't even commented on. the ep is paper-thin yet even the core idea is incoherent

what is going on in this time travel episode. the o'briens are not broken up at all about any of this, the entire station is helpless against a flailing feral teenager, the B plot is inappropriate yet has more emotion, and everyone is giving up on the situation after 24 hours
