Some years ago I was a vibrant brother doing very well in church but pastors always felt threatened.
The first church I attended, I was there for 9yrs before the pastor called me and sent me away. I didn't steal or sleep with anyone but great testimonies were coming from church
members and I guess the pastor didn't like it. I discovered when you yield yourself to the Holy Spirit, He does things you can never imagine. I cried for many days and after a few weeks went to another branch of that great well known Ministry. I kept to myself but no matter how
you do it as a believer, your fragrance would bring you out. The pastor told us one day that "don't expect to grow and display yourself on the pulpit in this church and I knew he was actually talking to me because the day he said it was the same day the pastor that sent me away
told his congregation that the brother that I sent away thinks he will be given a chance to express himself where he is but it won't happen.
When I heard that I put two and two together and
decided to stay at home and after a few weeks, I started a house fellowship and people
were actually coming from other cities including my brothers from another religion. If i had known what I know now, I wouldn't have stopped but a few months later, the Coordinator of that great Ministry in my country started calling me
He said he didn't want my gift to go waste
I later joined the church and that was the end of the house fellowship. I was like a pastor there because the coordinator was always traveling to other countries for ministrations
After a few years, envy came from members that were there before me, and one day I just woke up
and stopped going to church. All these events happened between 2001 and 2015.
I have been called by other people to come and minister in their cities but had no church and there was one thing the Holy Spirit kept telling me, I'm raising my end time army.
In 2019, my childhood
friend told me about the Brother in Jean and t-shirt (Gbenga Samuel Wemimo) but I was a bit reluctant to check him up on Twitter and in 2020 she reminded me again and told me to read his stories. I started reading his stories and later got a link to join the WhatsApp group. The
first time I heard him teach, I was convinced in my spirit that the waiting is over. I registered for the bible school PSSBC.
GSW in his teachings makes you realize who you are in Christ. I had to unlearn so many things and learn new things and still learning. I can't afford to
miss a class.

I celebrate you my brother and teacher. Thank you for opening our eyes to the Gospel, thank you for reintroducing the Holy Spirit to me in another dimension. Thank you for yielding yourself to the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your passion for the kingdom.
Thank you for teaching me. God bless you Sir
I LOVE YOU MY BROTHER.

@DavidAdetoro

This message was sent to me on by a brother I love very much
I posted it because I have questions
1) Why do some church leaders frustrate the growth of fellow believers in the church?
How do we expect to raise a church devoid of envy and worldliness when church leaders are themselves full of such things
3) What is the solution to this challenge?
4) Why can't members grow to the point where they start their own ministries in your church?

Two days ago, a lady approached me at the supermarket
I was with my children
I had picked them from school and they had asked for an ice cream treat
So we went to the supermarket to get some
The lady said "Good afternoon sir, I don't know if you can help a young man get a job
He is hardworking, honest, and very down to earth
He can drive, work in a supermarket like this or do any other thing you have in mind...
I said, "He can drive?"
She said yes
So I gave her my phone number
I told her to give it to this young man
The young man called me an hour
later
We talked
I asked someone to do a background check and another to interview him
He came out quite clean
I gave him a job as a driver, with a very good pay
He resumed this morning
At about 2pm, he drove me to the supermarket
I needed to pick up some things
Guess who came to

A lady came to see me in my office
She talked on and on about her husband
He was a good man, a wealthy man but a man whose orientation was based on the idea that the wife is an "outsider"
He would often say "A wife can leave at any time, so a wife is not family but children are"
This philosophy pervaded his life
He would buy properties and keep all the documents with his older brother
The house he built in his village was mostly for the comfort of his relatives
His wife said whenever they travel to the village, her husband's relatives will take over the
house, cook whatever they wanted or sleep wherever they wanted without any regard for her
She felt like an outsider, exactly as her husband described a wife to be
She wanted to leave the marriage
She said her husband would rather listen to his people than her and most times take

I remember a night in 2015
I was given a message for a Christian brother
He was a staff of a TV station close to my house
My wife works at the TV station
My immediate elder sister also worked at the station
This person is a colleague of both my sister and my wife
He is older than
me and is also a deacon in his church
We greet each other once in a while but we were not really familiar with each other
He and his wife had been waiting on the Lord for a baby for several years
I was at home that day, reading the Bible and praying in the Holy Ghost when I heard
his name
I took my pen and wrote down the instructions
The Holy Spirit said "Deliver this to him directly and immediately"
I was in my boxers and a pair of slippers
I ran into the bathroom and got to the office in about 30 minutes
I saw him from afar, it was as if the Holy Spirit

The only person that was consecrated Archbishop was Benson Idahosa. And that happened because of court injunction that he should not be consecrated a bishop. He was given an interlocutory injunction. When he was to be made a bishop some members of the church rose up against him
and went to the court. They brought an injunction that he should not be made bishop. But the announcement on radio and television continued.
So on the day of the event, the people who were to consecrate him bishop consecrated him Archbishop and the news went round that Idahosa
would spend his yuletide in jail for contempt of court. And he was charged to court and the judge said to him that he had run foul of the court order but he pleaded not guilty and explained that he was not consecrated Bishop but an Archbishop. That was how he became archbishop.

In her opinion, he was too childish when they met
He was 28
She was 26
He was working with a publishing firm
She was a lawyer
He was extremely intelligent
She was intelligent
She knew he had potentials but he was content to play happy go lucky with his life
She was getting more
out of life at 22 than he was getting at 28
He was making a poor salary, most of his earnings were based on commissions and the job takes him all over the country like a vagabond
He was part of the team setting up the book fairs and exhibitions and school tours
For the pittiance
he was being paid, she felt he was doing way too much
She told him about it
He just laughed it off, like a child
She knew they were taking advantage of him
She was sure that with his skills and intelligence he could do better
Way better...but he didn't see what she was seeing
