📢Imp announcement: Given the pandemic situation & following the cancellation of state board exams for Std Xth, the government has permitted the board to pass ALL Std Xth students studying in schools affiliated to it, with internal assessments being done at school level. (1/9)
The policy for scoring & tabulation of marks for Std Xth students based on school-level assessments has also been finalised after deliberations with all the stakeholders. Students will be assessed out of maximum 100 marks for each subject. (2/9)
Final results will be based on subject-wise marks scored by a candidate in:
* Internal written evaluation conducted during the year (30 marks).
* Homework / oral exam / practical / internal assignments as per board's policy (20 marks).
* final results of Std 9th (50 marks). (3/9)
It is no doubt an ad-hoc arrangement, but one that attempts to incorporate some semblance of 'normal times'. The assessments used for tabulating marks of class 9th will have taken place almost entirely during pre-Covid times & the corresponding results are verifiable. (4/9)
Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allotted with have the opportunity to appear in the next couple of examinations for improvement in scores to be conducted by the board after the conditions become more conducive to hold exams. (5/9)
A Result Committee headed by the school's Principal / Headmaster & comprising six teachers will be responsible for finalization of results & safe keeping of records. The task is challenging, but I'm confident that our schools, teachers will live up to the task. (6/9)
Schools will be given timelines for various activities to allow the SSC board to declare results by June-end. The board will organize webinars, upload FAQs & set up helplines to give schools, teachers a detailed understanding of the assessment process. (7/9)
Separate assessment plans have also been finalised for Repeater / private students / isolated candidates. The cancelled board exam of 2021 will not be counted in the 2 chances available under the Class Improvement Scheme. (8/9)
All schools, students and their parents are requested to read the guidelines carefully. I am confident that our schools & teachers will complete internal assessments with the highest degree of professionalism, consistency and care. (9/9) #ssc#sscexam#BoardExams

Hats off to our students who have braved this tough academic year. To help them, here are some concessions and guidelines for the final exams. For FAQs, refer mahahsscboard.in
Conducting practicals in school has been tough this year and therefore we have decided that students need to be given a concession here. That is why, to start with, we have decided to do away with science practical exams for SSC, replacing them with internal assignments.
The internal assignments submissions will take place after written exams (From May 21-June10). This will be conducted in the respective schools. If any child falls sick during this submission period, an additional grace period of 15 days will be granted for submissions.
