If you think your drink is packed with sugar, wait until you see how sweet the government is. On January 6th, during the insurrection, our twice impeached inept leader tried to call Tommy Tuberville. He reached Mike Lee instead, who handed the phone over during evacuation.🧵👇🏻
Why did trump specifically want to talk to Tuberville? Had he tried others? Unlikely, or we may have heard about it by now. McCarthy reached out to trump to call it off at some point but that doesn’t matter. That only helped seal *his* fate. No, trump wanted Tuberville.
A cult of personality candidate with zero government experience, Tuberville was a football coach from Alabama. How did a football coach beat Doug Jones, a civil rights icon, in Alabama? Money. Lots of sweet, sweet money.
There is a PAC called WINRED. In recent filings for 2019-2020, they spent...sit down for this...$2,085,389,680.65 to elect republicans.

That’s 2 BILLION DOLLARS in one election cycle from one PAC.
One Florida family really wanted Tuberville to win in AL. So much so, this one family contributed $1,006,235 to an SEC rival coach. Heresy. This family happens to own Domino Sugar. Can your family afford to give $1m to people who will not represent you? promarket.org/2016/09/19/sug…
Personal contributions cap at $2,800. Maybe your family can afford to give that money to someone willing to represent your interests in your state. But to raise that same $1m contribution amount, 359 of your neighbors would also have to contribute $2,800. Unlikely.
So the Florida Sugar family contributed $1m to Tuberville in Alabama through a PAC that spent $2B in one year. Oh, and those contributions came to WINRED through a place in West Palm Beach FL. Isn’t that where the failed one termer who called Tuberville on Jan 6 was holed up?
There is no surprise as to why the Republicans are loathe to have an investigation into the Insurrection. They know what will be found. They know an investigation will be akin to a cavity search. Sugar is just the sweetener....because of course there is more.
You see, that sweet family in Florida didn’t just give to that one PAC. Nope, they also gave to another one. On the same day. For $580,000 to the trump victory PAC. Also through West Palm Beach FL. Is it beginning to crystallize or do we need more?
On the FEC website, they show 327 contributions made by this family! I stopped adding the total given in this one year period when I reached the $3,754,100 mark and saw a homemaker contributed $35,000. That’s not even a 3rd of the number of contribution entries and I’m tired.
@SenWhitehouse has been looking into dark money. This is dark money, folks. This Florida family sprinkled their sugar everywhere. They donated to the Alaska Republican Party. Recall the huge sugar cane fields in Alaska. They gave to the fertile untapped sugar reserves of NV GOP.
They even hedged their bets by donating to the DCCC and Nancy Pelosi! Of course, they didn’t get near as much...just enough for a taste and to provide themselves with a layer of both side’s gaslighting deniability later should anyone like @SenWhitehouse want to talk about it.
And it is dark money. Because like I said earlier, a personal contribution maxes out at $2,800. But a PAC can receive money from anyone, anywhere, at any time, for any amount. It would seem sugar *is* in everything.
Have you ever been to a diner? Are you at one now? Look at the sugar packet on the table. I know it’s there. What brand is it? And we haven’t even talked yet about the amount of sugar in your Coke, brother.

Why did trump call Tuberville on January 6th? Why him specifically?
By not having an investigation, McConnell is also protecting his donors, protecting their investment. He is working for them, not the people. Those donations are being used to create voter suppression laws. They’re funding the destruction of democracy.
A 56-35 majority bipartisan vote is not enough to even ask questions anymore. If the scoreboard at the end read Auburn 56 Alabama 35, would coach Tuberville be ok if the tide rolled out with the Sugar Bowl?

The year is 2023...

Standing with newly elected House Speaker Marjorie Taylor Greene, House Intel Committee chairman Devin Nunes announces he will be holding joint hearings with Judiciary committee chairman Jim Jordan to begin the impeachment of President Biden.
Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell backs newly named Senate Judiciary committee chairman Tom Cotton’s plan to expand the Supreme Court to 51 seats. During his speech he says he looks forward to working with Justices Cruz and Hawley in the near future.
McConnell also goes on to state that “now that Senators Manchin and Sinema have officially changed their party affiliation, we now have the votes to end the dangerous filibuster that the democrats came so perilously close to destroying just a short time ago.”

Last year on #90DayFiance there was an issue with Mike getting into the embassy in Ukraine to help Natalie with her visa process. The reason for that is below. 90 Days is on TLC which used to mean The Learning Channel. So it’s been a year, let’s see what we’ve learned.🧵👇🏻
Well, we’ve learned that Rudy Giuliani was in Ukraine helping to have our Ambassador removed and looking for dirt on Joe Biden. 90 days is my escape from all of that. But now the worlds have again collided, this time for Andrei and Libby.
You may remember this couple from such episodes as Lib’s brother Charlie and Andrei fighting in Moldova, or Charlie drunk toasting the happy couple on their wedding day where he told Andrei not to come to America and take advantage of it or my daddy.

The following thread illustrates the danger of trump’s ability to learn on the fly, adjust quickly and do anything it takes to be the top boy. To know what we may be dealing with, buckle up Boxing fans, we’re headed to the 80’s🧵👇🏻
On January 22, 1988, Donald Trump hosted the first of two heavyweight title fights at trump plaza in New Jersey. He had no idea what he was doing. But, then he did. And he adapted quickly. 1988 was a banner year for Donald as outlined in this piece. politico.com/magazine/story…
For those who don’t remember or weren’t there, ‘88 Mike Tyson was the best boxer of the time, in his prime and at the peak of his powers. He was the fastest, strongest, hit the hardest, could take anyone’s punch (if any landed at all) and he was popular. He was ‘box office’.

They tell us there is no bipartisanship. They argue against bills to weaken them, get what they want, and still don’t vote for them. They tell us the president was practically and morally responsible for the Insurrection. They tell us there was no Insurrection.
They tell us to vote for them so they can eliminate voting rights. They tell us they are pro life while executing DNA exonerated Black men. They tell us they are the party of law and order, yet they won’t allow investigations.
They tell us we cannot appoint Supreme Court Justices in an election year, yet they confirmed one after 10 million people voted. They tell us they are against cancel culture, yet excommunicate Liz Cheney for recognizing reality.

Mitch McConnell is opposed to an investigation into Insurrection. This is an act of fealty to a twice impeached president who yelled at him via blog posts. Hair Fewer pulled his leash and now McConnell responds with self preservation. He knows what an investigation will find.🧵👇🏻
An Insurrection is an attack on our country. Just as we were attacked on 9/11, we were attacked on 1/6. Both dates represent traumas brought on by ideological terrorism. Mitch McConnell not wanting an investigation into an Insurrection is a dereliction of duty. Know him.
Mitch McConnell allowed the rise of trump in order to serve his own needs to mold the judiciary in his image. He used trump as much as trump used him. Know him.

The ducks are lining up. Reality is about to emerge from the fog. It is slow, and methodical, but soon we’ll see the picture.

🦆1. Rudy Giuliani is raided by the FBI and most likely, the raid was focused on crimes that may have occurred in relation to activities in Ukraine. Activities that we now know are part of a disinformation campaign to dirty up Biden leading into the election.
🦆2. In these released documents, page 201 of 285, there includes an email that references Rudy Giuliani and policy agenda for Homeland Security. Image
