What’s in a name : A Lot !
Where did Spanish Flu originate - Not Spain !
Most probably China. First known case USA.

China, by coercion, cajoling, playing victim card, labelling others as racist, intimidation, paying media etc has managed to shake off ‘China - virus’ tag. On
the other hand, the propaganda to start labelling it as ‘Indian Variant’ in on full swing. News reports across the world have started to call it that, and the blame can directly be put on our own, who have happily propagated this nomenclature. Those who say “what’s the big deal”
fail to understand how our future generations, who have not lived through this and will not be aware of reality, continue to hear and say this as ‘Indian Virus/Strain’. A virus can mutate, anywhere. No one has control over it. Whereas not letting the world know of a possible
pandemic, hiding the facts, misinformation and supposed Bio war are acts of terrorism and war. Why should China be given a pass at this and blame shifted to others, especially India. Hence, kindly do stop using the term and call it what it is - Chinese virus and B.1.617 strain to
ensure that history records it right. We don’t want another - Aurangzeb was a benevolent king - kind of error, in global history books.

Hamas apparently is hoping to overwhelm and saturate #IronDome’s capabilities to intercept and then have a free run for rocket attacks on Israel.
1. Iron dome is meant to intercept small range rockets falling over vital territories. It does not intercept every rocket. The high
quality sensor package with ID picks the the trajectory of rockers coming in and calculates the impact zone. If it isn’t falling over some vital / critical/ inhabited area, ID will not take action.
2. Once the trajectory is identified, and is considered as a valid threat, the ID
will launch an intercepting missile that aims for the incoming rocket. The beauty of this system is that it does not hit the incoming rocket but blasts close to it / them to take out the warhead of the incoming rocket. If it were to hit it and damage only the rear/ motor section,

Sir, I generally don’t get into these debates, but since you’ve broached the topic, I’ll definitely submit my two paise.
1. I filled Hindu in the form because the SSB asked for it. I didn’t go there wearing bhagwa and shouting from rooftops that I’m a Hindu. There’s a difference
between proving identity versus feigning supremacy.
2. I’m a proud Hindu. Just like @SinghNavdeep Sir is a proud Sikh and my coursemate Maj Salman Khan, SC (P) was a proud Muslim and another course-mate who is leading COVID support via air transport is a proud Christian. The
thing that makes us ( Defense personnel )different from others is the day you don your uniforms, there is only one religion to follow and that’s called ‘India’ and one flag to salute above all and that is ‘Tiranga’. That’s the code we live and die by. The only enemy is enemy of

I saw a post today that spoke about how determination and will power can help fight COVID. Prompted me to share my personal experience. Though I’m not much of a sharing person, but I do think that it might help someone get motivated and not give up easily.
Sep 2019, I went to
Russia as part of Indian delegation at BRICS summit in Ufa. Post the summit, we had some meetings for few days in Moscow and then had to come back. On the day of return flight, during immigration I started to feel funny in my face and started to lose balance. I didn’t want to
sit or fall during immigration and security, coz that’s the worst idea for a brown guy, so somehow I crossed it. The moment I exited, I could barely walk coz I kept falling towards one side and right side of my face started drooping. I realised something is majorly wrong so I

Since all ‘experts’ are very excited to talk about why we should review the training, tactics, formation, counter ambush drills etc now, I thought let me give a counter to those who’ve never sat down in an ambush and thankfully never suffered any. Firstly, if you
end up being ambushed upon, by even a mid level tactician, that too an opportunity ambush, you’ll rarely live to tell the tale. Forget about a well planned one by a good planner.
There are many types of ambushes. But for a layman, let’s say you choose the location, site the
Weapons, place your troops, cut off all exit grounds, place mines, bombard the area with lead and grenades and fill the entire kill zone with everything you have. Now try walking out of that !
Yes, the best counter is to fight back. But when you’re suddenly bombarded with so much

Why would Pakistan agree to ceasefire now ? Firing on LoC and pushing of terrorists into Indian territory is business as usual for them. What changed ?

1. Biden administration would like to have a strong military base in Pakistan now, to counter Iran and manage China’ growth in
in the region. Actually boots on ground and planes in sky will help this a lot. Also, since India’s air strikes proved that we can go inside Pak, US wouldn’t want to have a base where things can go volatile any moment.

2. Also a sign of change of government. Biden is very pro
Pak but has major leaning towards Zardari. By ensuring peace on LoC with India, Bajwa and Imran’s possibility of anything dramatically surprising to both India and US is reduced a lot. They wont break peace now for the fear of losing support from US. And that takes away from them

Whenever you travel by air in India, you’ll come across these unique travellers in your flight :
@IndiGo6E @flyspicejet @airindiain @goairlinesindia @airvistara
1. The Celebrity - will board just before the flight is about to take off. Accompanied by airline’s staff. Will throw
a perfunctory hello around and take the seat right in front
and will never take off sunglasses during entire flight. Will call the cabin crew to ask for ‘Papaya milk from Holy mountain in New Zealand milked by blind shepherds’; and then failing to get it will settle down with -
- “Oh, nothing then.” Will get down first. Everyone in the
Flight will get a chance to say “ X was in my flight today”, as a mark of self achievement.

2. The Corporate Consultant - This guys needs to show everyone how he’s the busiest, most frequently traveling technocrat in
