Thread on employment in UP by Yogi Sarkar!

As per a recent CMII survey, UP is best performing state in providing employment:
🔸 Unemployment rate of UP is at 6.9%
🔸 Lowest among all states
🔸 2.5 times lower than 2017 levels of 17.5%
🔸 Seven times lower than Delhi

Same report confirms that, in last 4 years, Yogi Sarkar has:

🔸 provided 4 lakhs jobs in govt
🔸 facilitated 15 lakhs jobs in private sector
🔸 given self employment opportunities to 150 lakhs people

This is despite pandemic & huge influx of migrant worker from other states.

Four lakhs government jobs in four years, that's huge by any given standards. This is:
🔸 35% more than the ten year period of SP & BSP rule
🔸 4 times more than that of Mayawati's tenure
🔸 Double than that of Akhilesh Yadav's tenure

That too without corruption & nepotism!

These vacancies were there for years, but it's only after after Yogi Adityanath came that recruitment happened.

UP Police had sanctioned strength of almost 3 lakhs, however it was operating with half its strength since decades.
Previous govts could never do it as they had no intent & interest in UP's law & order.
It's to the CREDIT of Yogi Adityanath that UPP got its full strength.

Women Empowerment:
🔸 20% reservation for women in police
🔸 3 exclusive women battalions of PAC
🔸 First time women were recruited as tube-well operators in irrigation dept
These are small steps but go a long way to ensure that women get equal employment opportunities as men.

Another small but very significant initiative taken by Yogi Adityanath govt was to share the PET score of UPSSSC exams with private sector companies with prior consent from the aspirant.
This helps aspirants who may want to explore employment opportunities in private sector.

Govt recruitment in UP has its own hurdles ~ bureaucratic, legal, political etc. Even if govt initiates recruitment process, it's bound to get delayed for years due to one or more roadblocks.
Yogi has achieved these numbers DESPITE all this makes it more special. An example👇

In 4 years, Yogi Sarkar has already recruited 4 lakhs youths in govt jobs ~ 2 times more than SP govt & 4 times more than BSP govt.

UP is number one state which has generated highest number jobs in MSME sector in last one year.
Despite pandemic & lockdown, 45,166 people got employment in 4571 MSME units. These units got subsidy of Rs 140 Cr from state government.

CM Yogi Adityanath handed over joining letters to 5,805 candidates of various posts of UP Police.
By end of this year, Yogi government will achieve 5 lakh recruitments in 5 years - a new record for the state.

Joining letters handed over to 534 applicants by UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Target is to provide 5 lakh government jobs in five years, 4.3 lakhs done, remaining to be completed before December this year.

Almost 4.5 lakhs permanent jobs provided by UP govt since 2017 apart from 3 lakhs contractual jobs.
This is more than double of 5 years of SP rule & 4 times of BSP rule.
