What are the solutions to reduce the difficulty of Kali?

Srimad Bhagavatam has answers to all the doubts regarding Kaliyuga.

Lets see that answers in this thread.

The sages were worried about the Kali Yuga to ask Suta Goswami this same question.
Ugrashravas Sauti (Suta Goswami) was the narrator of several Puranas, with the narrations typically taking place before the sages gathered in Naimisha Forest.

In response to this, the text Srimad Bhagavatam was spoken by Suta Goswami to all present.
The following 7 verse from Srimad Bhagavatm are essence of reasoning given to King Parīkṣit by Śukadeva Gosvāmī to explain him why Hari Kirtan and Bhakti Marga is the best way to reduce effect of Kali.
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.45:

In the Kali-yuga, objects, places and even individual personalities are all polluted. The almighty Personality of Godhead, however, can remove all such contamination from the life of one who fixes the Bhagwan within his mind.
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.46:

If a person hears about, glorifies, meditates upon, worships or simply offers great respect to the Supreme Bhagwan, who is situated within the heart, the Lord will remove from his mind the contamination accumulated during many thousands of lifetimes.
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.47:

Just as fire applied to gold removes any discoloration caused by traces of other metals, BhagwanViṣṇu within the heart purifies the minds of the yogīs.
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.49:

Therefore, O King (Parīkṣit), endeavor with all your might to fix the Supreme Bhagwan Keśava within your heart. Maintain this concentration upon the Lord, and at the time of death you will certainly attain the supreme destination.
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.50:

My dear King, the Bhagvaan is the ultimate controller. He is the Supreme Soul and the supreme shelter of all beings. When meditated upon by those about to die, He reveals to them their own eternal spiritual identity.
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.51:

My dear King, although Kali-yuga is an ocean of faults, there is still one good quality about this age: Simply by doing Hari Kirtan, one can become free from material bondage and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom.
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.52:

Whatever result was obtained in Satya-yuga by meditating on Viṣṇu, in Tretā-yuga by performing sacrifices, and in Dvāpara-yuga by serving the Lord's lotus feet can be obtained in Kali-yuga simply by doing Hari Kirtan.
Any intelligent person with the working brain cells should realize the craziness in the present world & ask the above question.

Despite all the bad effects of Kali yuga, it has the greatest blessing that simply by chanting Krishna, one can be freed from this material world. 🙏🏽

How do we find out our Ishta-Deva (personal deity)?

Ishta Devata is the personal Deity who will guide the soul to its real home--Moksha.

There are 3 possible ways, in our opinion, that Ishta Devata is chosen by a spiritual aspirant.
#thread
Here are first 2 ways.
1. A spiritual aspirant becomes attracted to a particular Deity after reading through different spiritual literature and accepts that Deity his Ishta Devata; and

2. The Guru of the spiritual aspirant meditates and finds out about the person's Ishta Devata.
The 3rd way is based on astrology and here is brief introduction about it based on A blog of Dr. Anjna Agarwal.

It will go little technical from here, so hold on some patience

The key role in revealing one's Ishta Devata plays the Atma Karaka.

Devi Sarasvatī : How the Devi of River transformed into the Devi of Knowledge?

Goddess Sarasvatī is one of the few Vedic Goddesses who is still worshipped widely. She is the Goddess of knowledge, art and culture.
We first find her name in the Ṛg Vedas (Samhitā). She was the personification of the river Sarasvatī.

River Sarasvatī was the most sacred river in the entire Āryāvarta. It used to flow from the Himalayas to the Arabian sea.
Vedic sacrifices used to take place on the bank of this river. The heart of Āryāvarta was known as Brahmāvarta (modern-day Kurukshetra).

It was the land between the river Sarasvatī and one of its tributary known as Dṛṣadvatī.

Arjuna Condition in starting of Shree Gita :

Reading and Learning Lessons of Shree Gita is one of the grand introduction to ocean of wisdom offered by philosophy of Hinduism.

For learning and living the Geeta, the Arjuna condition is the initial Sadhana. 1/7

#thread
The First chapter is called by a self-contradicting title. It is named as the Yoga of ARJUNA'S GRIEF. If 'grief' could be Yoga, almost all of us, without a choice, are already Yogins.

These are very important commentary from Swami Chinmayananda in his book "Holy Gita"
He indicated that the Arjuna-condition of utter despair is the auspicious mental attitude wherein the Geeta-seeds are to be sown, and the flowers of Krishna-perfection gathered.

Sri Vidya is a Shakta sect which believes that the goddess Lalita Tripurasundari is supreme.

One of the most important texts of the Sri Vidya sect is the Lalita Sahasranamam, found in the Lalita Mahatmya of the Brahmanda Purana. Image
The guru parampara of Sri Vidya consists of broadly 3 sections or "ogha" which literally means "flock" or "groups".
First is the Divyaugha (divine or celestial beings including gods and devatas)

Second is Siddhaugha (extra ordinary beings including rishis, saints)

Third is mAnavaugha (human beings from which human paramparA continues)

Tradition of Shanmatha By Shankara Bhagavatpada (Adi Shankaracharya) and Panchayatana Puja

At the time of Shankaracharya, people in different parts of our nation worshipped different deities.

Shankaracharya took a different approach which was in harmony with our scriptures.1/10
He accepted devotion to all forms of the god because in reality everything is Brahman who is

Nirguna (without any attributes),
Nirakaara (without any shape) and
Nirvikaara (without any change).
Vedanta talks about the same Brahman.

All forms are true only at empirical plane of reality while in the absolute plane of reality everything is Brahman who is eternal, infinite & pure bliss.

One can devote himself to any form of that supreme as long as one attains a pure mind
