Young pastor - spend your time praying, serving, loving, engaging with every kind of person there is for the sake of the Gospel - not fighting for power or control or being used in denominational politics - it will the the waste of your life
God placed something in you when he called you - you are going to have to listen & think like never before - the world is complex & the church compromised - God will use you powerfully if you listen to HIM!
The dream that God put in your heart will not be fulfilled by any organization but only by the Holy Spirit who fills us with the love of Jesus
Early on learn the power of daily worship & hearing Gods voice - prayer must be a passion more than a habit - build a ministry without prayer & you will live to see it crumble
Let those spiritual gifts flow in your life, not to build your ministry but to fulfill the mission of Jesus in your life.
Let no one own you but respect every - don’t be too good for anyone. Avoid angry people, gossips, mean people, self-righteous people that are always fighting & trashing others
Surround yourself with several older people that you can go to for counsel, get guidance, let them speak into your life - that godly deacon, praying elderly lady . . .
Read, pray, think, journal, read some more, do life with none-Christians - mindless, tribal Christianity is killing us
Keep you ego, money, & sex life in check - don’t ignore your sin - talk to a peer & an older person
Don’t envy others, their promotion, recognition, success - Let Jesus be all that to you & you can celebrate with others. Be ok & excellent in the lane God places you & don’t wait or do it for the Thankyou s or recognition
If you do things I promise you, you will have a rich and full life & God will do things in & through you that you never dreamed possible
