10 Steps To CURE Victim Mentality

The victim mentality is a plague

It is stealing your:

- health
- wealth
- energy
- success
- happiness

I used to be cursed by the victim mentality.

- excuses
- entitlement
- complaining
- negative mindset
- lack of ownership

These are the 10 steps I took to finally cure it👇
#1: Brutal Honesty

Most people LIE to themselves.

This was most apparent after my late-night trip to the hospital.

- I woke up confused & disoriented
- The nurse told me I had alcohol poisoning
- I look myself in the mirror and I see a fraud

I had a choice to make...
I could either

Lie to myself and say everything is okay.

OR

Tell myself the truth. My habits were killing me.

This is the moment I choose brutal honesty over sugarcoating lies.
#2: Environment

Do you feel energized or drained around your peers?

Recognize the GREAT power of your environment.

Victim peers = victim you

Victor peers = victor you

Environment can be your greatest asset or your greatest liability.
#3: Health

Poor health sabotages your:

- mood
- energy
- happiness

You are much more likely to be a victim when you are in poor health.

Every single high achiever I've spoken with has preached the importance of health.

#4: Input

You are brainwashed right now.

- TV
- Peers
- Music
- Celebrities
- Social media

Are all influencing your beliefs, thoughts, & actions.

Change your input and you'll change your life.

Input = Output

#5: Work Ethic

You will never achieve anything sitting on the sidelines.

Give up the excuses, put in work.
Give up the complaining, put in work.
Give up the victim mindset, put in work.

Champions have the work ethic of a bull.

#6: Accountability

Humans are natural procrastinators.

You will fight against this with social accountability.

>> Find 3 people
>> Tell them your goals
>> Send them PROOF of the work

Victims avoid accountability at all costs.
Champions seek out accountability.
#7: Achievement

You'll find that after putting in ACTUAL work, you will achieve things

Victims never make it to this step. Victims obsess over:

- handouts
- entitlement
- avoiding work

Champions achieve GREATNESS because they EARN it

High achievers:

#8: Gratitude

"I'll be happy when ___ happens" is the WORST mindset you can have.

Stop delaying your happiness.

Be grateful for what you have right now:

- family
- health
- food on the table

#9: Abundance

Victims have a scarcity mindset. This is completely wrong.

Health is abundant (@Gabepluguez )
Money is abundant (@THETYFRANKEL )
Winning is abundant (@waronweakness )

Stop success shaming and start applauding your peers when they get a win.
#10: Ownership

Take ownership of EVERYTHING. This includes your:

- fitness
- career
- failures
- successes
- happiness
- relationships
