Reading DOJ's new SUPER RED FLAG proposal, allowing for the following groups to apply for GUN CONFISCATION orders against you:

1. Government agencies
2. School officials
3. Ex-girlfriends

You would be entitled to no notice or due process, beyond a 5am knock on your door.
I call this SUPER RED FLAG because the DOJ notes that they take the worst parts of Red Flag laws across the country and combine them into one.
This Red Flag legislation would also allow "healthcare providers" to file gun confiscation orders against you.

If you thought it was weird when the federal government began encouraging doctors to ask patients about their gun ownership, now you know why.
Disturbingly, the DOJ's Red Flag legislation allows for "ex parte" orders.

This means a court decides to strip you of your rights, but you aren't invited or notified of the hearing.
Red Flag Gun Confiscation Orders do not target guilty people: they target innocent people on the basis of pre-crime.

This is Minority Report dystopianism.

Even if they gave you a day in court, how do you defend yourself against the accusation of a future crime?
I guarantee you that the federal government will attempt to force Red Flag Gun Confiscation on the states by linking it to federal funding.

"You don't want to pass a gun confiscation law? Then we aren't giving you back that money we stole from you for your highways."

About ten years ago, I believed in these wars to “spread freedom” in the Middle East.

Learning about the US history of regime change, bombings and sanctions in the Middle East—as well as understanding the CIA’s concept of “blowback”—caused me to reflect and reconsider.
Many Islamic leaders have tried to rally the Muslim word against the West on the basis of religion.

Bin Laden succeeded by speaking, not to religious differences, but to practical political grievances.
We cannot understand our enemy without understanding what truly motivates them.

We should also reflect on our own government’s actions, asking if the situation would be justified if the roles were reversed and America was the recipient of such a “War on Terror.”

There was never a serious thought given to mass censorship on social media until Donald Trump was elected President of the United States on the power of social media.

This is NOT the market.
This is government.
The censorship may be officially conducted by private companies, but they are private companies granted oligopoly privileges from Washington (carrots) and threatened with punishing regulations by Washington (sticks).

This is government capture of industry.
Communism calls for seizing the means of production.

Fascism was the realization government does not need to own the means of production so long as government can partner with industry and control the means of production through granted privileges and imposed regulations.

What is "gain-of-function" (GOF) research?

Biological research aimed at increasing the virulence and lethality of pathogens and viruses, including enhancing their transmissibility among humans.
The argument for GOF research is that is conducted for biodefense purposes.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has argued that GOF research is worth any potential risks because it enables scientists to make preparations that could be useful in a pandemic.
Many other scientists have cautioned against GOF research, however, noting that science-enhanced pathogens can:

(1.) Escape from labs, infecting and killing people
(2.) Be used for biological warfare

Washington attempts to corral American voters into an illusion of choice between red and blue Washington supremacists—aka the Bushes and the Clintons.
When the American people can communicate freely across social media, everyone becomes a potential threat to the carefully constructed right and left political narratives.
Unrestrained social media empowered the American people to step off the establishment reservation and elect Donald Trump as President of the United States.

Love him or hate him, he was not a part of the script and that loss of control terrified the political class.

I am sincerely concerned as I watch our constitutional rights fall like dominoes.
We lost the 4th Amendment after 9/11 with the passage of the Patriot Act and the growth of the surveillance state.
Since whistleblower @Snowden and journalist Julian Assange disclosed and reported the crimes of the Washington surveillance state, the federal government has pursued them to the ends of the earth to punish acts that one would think are protected by the 1st Amendment.
