"They (China) wanted to dominate AI by 2035. And then on the military front, be able to fight in any domain, anywhere in the world by 2049 and that set the timetable...then we (US) as a country had to make a decision."

(Based on the China timeline) - "we became very adamant and set a hard deadline of 2025, and we said that by 2025, the US has to be able to defend and compete in the coming era of AI accelerated competition and conflict."

@WhiteHouse just released a supply chain review 250 pages long, so not a short report, but just to give the spoiler the review emphasizes that the US will not achieve supply chain security alone...we have to achieve it collectively with our allies

The @WhiteHouse supply chain review calls out the #Quad "specifically recommending expanding multilateral engagement on supply chain vulnerabilities."
