1) User empathy is tough to learn, and it makes sense to invest in talent who have chosen a path that requires them to understand what gets applause, like part-time creators, artists, etc.
2) Don't use people to solve your problems. Instead, solve problems for your people and they'll solve the organization's problems. Your team is the ultimate long term elixir for your business. Take care of them, and they'll take of your company.

6) Survival was always given to the fittest and the most adaptable, but recent events have made the cycles of change much faster. In order to stay relevant, you have to be open to learning new things on the fly.
7) Long term changes have been accelerated due to the pandemic. Two such changes are:
(a)Every company has been forced to become a "tech company"
(b)Every organization has had to adopt some system of remote working.
8) Humor is the best ice-breaker. Making jokes on each other, regardless of the organisational status of the person, helps build deep connections and trust among employees.
9) Autonomous motivation and self-discipline are more than "soft skills" today. In the world of remote work, the people you can trust are the ones who can work well without being constantly monitored and micro-managed.
10) Humans bond through shared experiences, and post-COVID, if not for work, we'll have to create newer reasons to meet each other and connect for different reasons.
