"Before you give up, read this"

🧵THREAD TIME: 👇
1. Anyone can give up; it is the easiest thing in the world to do.

But to hold it together when everyone would expect you to fall apart, now that is true strength.
2. A warrior does not give up what he loves, he finds the love in what he does.

If you give up now, what were you even fighting for?
3. God is looking for stubborn faith. Anyone can give up; anyone can get discouraged.

If you’re going to reach your destiny, you have to make up your mind that you’re going to stand no matter what comes against you.
4. Never give up on something you really want.

Keep trying, never give up, you just never know when you’ll get lucky...
5. Breathe darling, this is just a chapter not your full story.

The future is closer than you think.
6. You're allowed to scream, cry or feel bad but DO NOT GIVE UP.
7. The reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have come.
8. Your comeback will be stronger than your setbacks.

No matter how much it hurts right now, one day you'll look back and realize it made you stronger.
9. Believe in your dreams. Don’t sell yourself short.

In life, there are going to be many people who will try to bring you down and tell you what you want to achieve is not possible.
10. You are so close.

Often when you feel like you want to give up, you are so close to making a huge breakthrough. You are just a heartbeat away from success.
11. You are alive and you can.

Believe in your dreams.
12. Remember why you started and how much you really wanted it.

Going back to the beginning brings into focus the purpose of your endeavor. Breathe in deep and recall your purpose.
13. Keep in your mind the picture of the end result. A visualization of what you want to accomplish will keep you moving forward.

You are a winner! Remember the slogan: the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat!
14. Yes, you may feel like giving up.
Yes, you are struggling.
Yes, you are overwhelmed at the moment.
I know this may seem like a strange thing to say, but remember to be grateful.

This is essential in a resilient mindset.
15. You're doing better than you think, I'm proud of you.

"Meditation for those who think they can't meditate"

🧵 THREAD TIME: 👇
The first thing is the mindset towards meditation. There's a specific image that people have in their heads.

The sitting upright, cross legged on the floor image with absolutely no thoughts in your head is what people think meditation is.
It is meditation, but it's pretty advanced, & not good for beginners.
Number one, to meditate upright, u need perfect posture, which isn't going to be possible for the average person.
Ppl who do sports or some other athletic activity could sit like this, but not the layman
