2/ During the 1:41 - 1:43 mark in this video, as Putin is answering a question about his upcoming meeting with @JoeBiden (referred to here, not by name, but as, "The U.S. President"), Putin scratches his nose and the medial aspect of his left eye with his left middle finger.

3/ Make no mistake, Putin is giving Biden the middle finger in this moment.

4/ This nonverbal display is just one of many examples of what is known as a Partial Emblematic Slip.

5/ This phenomenon is termed, 'Partial', because it is not a classic full-on extension of the middle finger. Moreover, it is not displayed in the typical arm-extended, hand held high, in-your-face configuration.

6/ It's called, 'Emblematic', because the meaning of an extended middle finger is understood over almost all cultures on the planet (an Emblem).

7/ The referred to as a, 'Slip', because it's almost always subconsciously driven act.
