The Refugee Story Bank of Canada is a new initiative to collect and showcase personal stories by migrants who have sought protection in this country from violence, war, oppression, discrimination and persecution.

In partnership with the University of British Columbia, the Angus Reid Institute conducted an online survey looking into people’s perceptions of race to highlight what the population truly thinks of diversity. thestar.com/news/canada/20…
Most respondents from across the country think that diversity is ultimately a good thing.

The survey revealed 85 per cent of people agree that Canada is a better country because of how racially diverse its population is.

Canadian citizens, permanent residents and others already eligible to enter Canada and who have two doses of a Health Canada approved vaccine won’t have to quarantine, but will still need COVID-19 tests before they leave for Canada and once they arrive. thestar.com/politics/feder…
