I did a quick compilation of prices of some common food prices before border closure and current prices and the average inflation is in 200% zone.

Prices keeps rising with static or diminishing income. @MBuhari @ProfOsinbajo MUST ACT!

@HenshawKate @henryshield @Dajibawo1
Maybe all Nigerians that can no longer feed themselves will move over to Aṣọ Rock to join in the @MBuhari at the dining table after all they have budgeted BILLIONS to feed themselves while some family annual income is N600k at N50k monthly.
At this rate of food inflation on food items for people at the bottom of the social pyramid. It is important to have immediate food intervention before we have hunger triggered anarchy.

I am calling on the privileged to come to the aide of people in their immediate domain.
The most painful thing in this inflation is that we are now paying MORE for LESS.

✔️ Quantity have reduced.
✔️ Quality has been compromised. (my children remarked yesterday that Semo no longer taste like Semo) #shrinkflation

Do you remember the historic football match between Nigeria and Brazil in Atlanta 1996. General Sani Abacha was the president of Nigeria, Jo. Bonfere was the Chief Coach of the dream team,
Nwankwo Kanu fully on ground as the Captain of the team etc.

Brazil was the king of global football and they knew it. So, Nigeria losing to Brazil that night would not be a big deal.

Gosh! Brazil dealt with us that night. Till around 77th minutes (about 12 minutes to the end
Of the game) Brazil was obviously dominating the game. The score line was Brazil 3, Nigeria 1.
Despite the Brazil squad including star names such as Carlos, Rivaldo, Bebeto and Ronaldo, Nigerians watching the game still think Nigeria did not deserve such humiliation by Brazil

WHAT THE LAW SAYS ABOUT NEXT-OF-KIN IN NIGERIA
(a THREAD culled from SM)

Are you among those that think by giving a name to financial institutions (bank for example) as next-of-kin you have chosen that person to automatically inherit your wealth in the event of your demise?
In other words, do you think by merely picking someone as your next-of-kin you have made that person a beneficiary to your wealth or entitlement(s) in the event of your death? Let us attempt a little legal analysis based on two factors: whether the deceased has a Will
(a document written by a deceased when he was alive that prescribes how his property is to be shared when he dies) or whether he dies without a will

In law when a person dies leaving behind a will, he is said to have died testate. In such a circumstance, Issue of next-of-kin

A THREAD based a short story 👇

A hat-seller who was passing by a forest decided to take a nap under
one of the trees, so he left his basket of hats by the side.
A few hours later, he woke up and
realized that all his hats were gone.
He looked up and to his surprise, the tree was full of monkeys and they had taken all
his hats.

The hat-seller sits down and thinks of how he can get the hats down.
While thinking he started to scratch his head. The next moment, the monkeys
were doing
the same. Next, he took down his own hat, the monkeys did exactly the same. An
idea came to him, he took his hat and threw it on the floor and the monkeys
did that too. So he finally managed to get all his hats back.

Fifty years later, his grandson,Tim, also became

WORDS FREQUENTLY USED IN NIGERIA NOT FOUND IN THE DICTIONARY

1. *Installmentally:*
This “word” is a favourite of many Nigerians, but, sadly, it simply does not exist. You won’t find it any reputable dictionary. The correct thing to say when “installmentally” comes
to your mind is in _"instalments"_ or _"by instalments"_.
*2. Plumpy:*
Nigerians use _“plumpy”_ when they want to say that someone is chubby or slightly fat. The correct expression is _plump_.

.
3. *Disvirgin:*
This particular “word” is used severally on a daily basis, especially by Nigerian men when they intend saying that a woman has lost her virginity to a guy. The correct word to use, however, is _"deflower"_, because “disvirgin” is not a word.
