All over the news, all I’m hearing about is the Delta and it’s not the one I want news about! 😡 #Thread 🧵

Ppl are loosing their fucking minds!!!!
What they are not saying this is these key facts:

1: We have data that suggest the AZ vaccine is acceptable at fighting off the #DeltaVariante but you have to get both doses or a second dose of Moderna or Pfizer.

1a: If you’re in Merica, don’t worry about it. No one got AZ.
2: We are waiting on the data about how effective the J&J vaccine is but it’s promising as it has the same spike style as the mRNA vaccines.
3: The mRNA vaccines appear to currently be no less effective at blocking the #DeltaVariante.

4: WE HAVE NO DATA THAT SAYS THE DELTA VARIANT SPREADS BETTER THROUGH VACCINATED PPL.
5: ALL THE DATA ON BREAKTHROUGH INFECTIONS IS INCOMPLETE AND INCONCLUSIVE!

We do not know how vaccinated these ppl were, their age, if they were on immunosuppressants and a fuck ton of other factors. Till we get that, we cannot say the Detla V is any more or less extra.
Not being fully vaccinated might as well be NOT VACCINATED. 30% coverage is meaningless if the Delta V. is ~2x more catchable.
I told you a while ago that unvaccinated ppl and children were going to have a scary summer welp.

First I’m going to add a few more things to your need list to make this happen:

Wax paper
Distilled water

If easily gotten, Rubbing Alochol.
(This is not a need and will make no difference in the outcome, it’s just for cleaning your tools)
Step 1: Gather all of your items and clean them. If you have Rubbing Alcohol, rinse all your tools with the alcohol (except the Wax Paper) and let them dry.

I’ve been seeing a lot of “The Pandemic is ending” pieces of late. They all have 1 thing in common, they are opinion pieces. As such, I thought I would put my 2 cents in there as well, I’m not a reporter compiling sources and parroting what they say into “news”. 🧵#Thread
The pandemic is no where near being over. It’s merely evolved into 3 distinct groups (experiences). Group 1- The vaccinated. Group 2- The partially/ under vaxxed but no longer give a fuck and Group 3- The Un-vaccinated.

Let’s talk about each group/ experience.
Group- 1: The fully Vaxxed. This is ppl like me. I am restarting my life and I am very comfortable with where we are in this.

New variant wise the risk is now low, most (more dangerous) variants are generated when the virus meets a new gene pool (population).
