At a #StopLine3 protest camp in Hubbard County Minnesota, this morning Sheriffs arrived & declared that vehicles cannot be used on the road leading to the camp. Cop cars are blocking the entrance & folks that arrived to deliver food/supplies are getting their cars towed.
Over the sheriff’s radio “jail vans” were called for. Officers/sheriffs with zip tie handcuffs are stationed near the exit. Multiple vans have arrived. Collection of sheriffs officers standing on a dirt road nearJail van and some officers standing on the road.
At least one support vehicle that arrived to help deliver food, supplies, and water has been towed away. There are many more support vehicles. Around 30-40 Officers and/or Sheriffs are at the scene.
Sheriffs say they’re towing vehicles because they are “blocking the road“ When I arrived only sheriff’s vehicles were blocking the road and that caused a traffic congestion. Cars pulled over to the side to wait to be let in, sheriffs refused then began towing. First arrest of the day. About two dozen more sheriffs showed up, some with big clubs. “Jail van” is moving closer. Crowd is surrounded on all sides of the road. #StopLine3 Line of sheriffs deputies some carrying big sticks, behind t
The crowd is chanting “Cops can’t cum!”
Sheriff’s issued a dispersal order on the side of the road closer to the camp. There was a small push and now more cars are being towed. Threats of arrest for public nuisance violations and an unlawful assembly.
Most of the crowd has moved into the driveway by the entrance of the camp. More tows are being attempted. One person is attached to a vehicle via a lockbox on the other side of the road. (Sound on for a verbal update)
Three people chanting “Water is Life” started walking towards the exit road and were arrested by the sheriffs. One water defender was tackled and dragged away.
One person who was filming other arrests on the side of the road was grabbed by sheriffs and arrested. #StopLine3
Cops charged into the driveway and arrested about four more people. Afterwards the #StopLine3 protesters assembled a very strong shield wall and the sheriffs haven’t advanced in the hour+ since then.
Everyone just sang all of Bohemian Rhapsody at the police. “Nothing really matters…except stoping line 3…” At least ten people have been arrested here today.
As soon as someone started playing “Fuck the Police” on a speaker, all the sheriffs left the driveway and are now walking back to their cars.
All cop cars have left the area to thunderous cheering. I can now see dozens of fireflies where the sheriffs used to be.
Around 15 vehicles were towed and impounded last night, along with the ten arrests. The tow trucks messed up the road so much that the county had to get someone to grate the road. So far just two sheriff’s trucks preventing cars from entering the camp today.

Detective Erik Kammerer (Officer #67) is a Police Use of Force investigator, and possibly the most violent man I've ever met.
When Erik started with Portland Police one of the first things he did was illegally break into someone's home.

Kammerer was actually removed from Portland Police’s Riot Team this past fall, allegedly for overly brutal conduct/public outcry. After noticing a pattern of extremely violent behavior from Officer 67, myself and others worked to identify and name him.
