1.I decided to share my portfolio’s annual performance against S&P for the first time. The S&P returns in the chart is estimated based on the same date and the contribution amount I had towards my fund as opposed to overall annual S&P return to have apples to apples comparison.
2.The fund is exclusively consisted of #microcap#OTCStocks . I was introduced into world of #Microcaps in 2017 through @NoNameStocks . I allocated my entire fund from index funds into these tiny stocks. I read books and blogs suggested by others and then it all grew from there.
3.Entering this new world of value investing, learning about all these businesses and their rise and fall stories, people in the #fintech community has made for a super fun three-year journey so far.
4.Biggest Winners:
$CTHR: +220%; bouncing back from the stall during Covid, heavy insider buying
$SCX: 180%; Effect of restructuring initiatives just starting to show up in income order and backlog
$EKCS: 620% Example of a stellar impact of one single contract on a tiny cap
5. $HRBR; +270%; Smaller initial position, the rise was so high for it to shine in the portfolio
Biggest Losers:
$IVFH: -%50; purchased right at the peak. Investors have been losing hope, will buy more
$BMRA: -43%; the big winner of prior year not quite performing this year yet
