Missing context for *that* photo - instigated it seems by @AskNationwide - not Downing St - as part of their 'respect in footbal' campaign.

So why on earth would Downing St release the cropped photo on the right?

Or if they didn't, why would @PoliticsForAlI say they did?
So it looks like @10DowningStreet released several photos from the photoshoot with @AskNationwide, but @PoliticsForAlI chose to release the one they did without supplying any context.

Was this lazy, deliberate, or something else?

Well Mr Adam Shit-Stirrer Hilton, in 2004 (17 years ago) Charles Moore was Telegraph editor when stories about George Galloway were published, which led to a successful libel action.

The newspaper had falsely written that Galloway received payments from Saddam Hussein's regime.
Moore was Chair of free-market think tank Policy Exchange, & in 2007 (14 years ago) he entered the debate over 'The Hijacking of British Islam', a misleading & widely condemned Policy Exchange report which the @BBC had found relied on fabricated evidence.

Moore hates the @BBC, which he claims is biased against climate change deniers. πŸ€ͺ

He views the threat of climate change as alarmism & in 2019 (2 years ago) claimed it's designed to produce β€œunprecedented government control & the relative impoverishment of western societies”. πŸ€ͺ

More absolute shit-stirring culture war bollocks from increasingly unhinged crank Charles Moore - does the once proud Spectator print anything else nowadays?

They've been accusing the National Trust of being 'woke' & 'anti-British' for SEVEN YEARS now - it's just utter bullshit.
On & on they go, like malfunctioning robotic populist nationalist chimps, puking out diatribe after diatribe against one of Britain's best loved & most profoundly BRITISH institutions. πŸ€ͺ

It's just part of their sad little backward-looking culture war, supported by Andrew Neil.
And all because the National Trust rightly wanted to provide context & mention some important details about the history of some of their buildings.

Imagine the National Trust providing relevant contextualising information!

On the 19th June, 2015, ex-Deutsche Bank MD Sajid Javid was the keynote speaker at the opaquely funded free-market think tank IEA’s 60th Anniversary.

He spoke about how "free markets" & sound economics help "everyone".

The IEA subscribes to a neoliberal worldview & advocates positions based on this ideology, including climate change denial, & total privatisation - in effect abolition - of OUR #NHS.

The dodgy IEA is secretly funded by Big tobacco, & IEA officers have offered "Cash for Access".
Let's have a look at what Javid said to the bankers, hedge-funders & free-market fundamentalists gathered at the IEA, a think tank funded by Libertarian billionaires & disaster capitalists keen to exploit Britain's last remaining publicly funded institutions, especially OUR #NHS.
