I've only *ever* known food & fellowship to be simultaneous - ever. Fast food in high school included. So I have absolutely no idea who told her that.

I'm kinda convinced that a. She's young and b. Her experience of something resembling a fancy restaurant was akin to Rudy Huxtable, Bud, Peter and 'nem trying to get hamburgers at Chez Whatever and now she thinks she's Emily Post.

I was half bullshitting but this is legit dialogue from the episode when Rudy and them get dressed up and go to the fancy restaurant....

And then of course the waiter goes across the street to Circus Circus to get them fast food burgers because they all HATE the food (because what kid liked gourmet burgers) and THEN they're happy and OHMYGODWHATIFSHEBASEDTHISWHOLESHITONTHAT???
