#KarlRock is innocent because he looks different – a thread
I went to Bali in 2019. It was a nice short tour. I was returning from the Tanah Lot temple(a Vishnu temple), when I chanced upon an Indian couple, newly married, possibly honeymooners chattering in thick Punjabi accent.
They were clicking selfies. But that’s what every traveler does, right? But those guys were a little different.
An all Caucasian group comprising of half a dozen girls and around 8 guys was loitering around the temple. But they were strictly minding their work. The Indian couple went to them and started getting chatty.
The Desi Honeymooners wanted to get a pic with the group. A selfie with a Caucasian group was some sort of a memorabilia for them. When they were turned down, they looked crestfallen.
As an Indian, I was embarrassed, to say the least. The honeymooners quickly got busy clicking pictures again. But there is another story.
And this was narrated to me by my wife. She was in Delhi Metro. A white couple boarded the train at the Hauz Khas station. The train was packed to capacity. So the couple quietly stood near the gate.
Suddenly a man who was very calm all this while walks up to the couple and the following communication ensued:
“First time in India sir madam”
“No, we have been here before”
“Ok Ok, Delhi very nice place, visit Qutub Minar, very nice place”
“Sure”
“Any problem here sir”
“No”
“You can let me know, I can help”
“No thank you”
<Awkward silence>
“India weather very bad sir>
“hmm”
“you carry sun lotion, Ok?”
“sure”
<Awkward silence>
The man kept pestering the couple for 15 mins straight. The couple got down after a couple of stations. The man kept smiling and looking at them, then magically transformed to a calm guy as soon as the train sped away.
We were under the British rule for a long time and looks like the long period of suppression and servility has done a permanent damage. The awe of the white skin is still to leave us. And therefore some of us behave like complete nincompoops when white people are around.
And one doesn’t need to see it physically to understand this behavior. If a video so much as mentions India, droves of Indians raid the comment section to “thank” the uploader.
Karl Rice, known online as Karl Rock, is a Vlogger from New Zealand. He has quite a following in India because he is a “Gora” and can speak cutesy Hindi. He stormed to news headlines recently when he was blacklisted by the Modi government.
Karl protested the Indian government for the “Draconian CAA and NRC” laws. Foreign nationals are not allowed to engage in protests or political activities in India. Only Indian citizens are permitted to do so.
Violation of this restriction can attract provisions of the Foreigners Act, 1946 and the Foreigners (Amendment) Act, 2004. Additionally, He and his Indian wife also talked ill about Shri Krishna and called him a Womanizer.
Karl, while ranting in a video, said that the Indian gov stopped him from returning to India by unfairly adding his name to the Ministry of Home Affairs’ blacklist. “I left India to go travel Dubai and Pakistan in Oct 2020 and upon leaving they cancelled my visa at the airport.
But Brown followers of the white vlogger soon descended upon Social Media to protest their brown government. Some of their arguments were:
He promoted tourism in India vro
He warns us Against Scammers vro
He loves India na vro
While branded liberals supported him for purely political reasons, most of the Desi Janata supported him because he was a white guy, giving India the validation that they have always pined for.
It’s purely race that’s driving this absurd behavior. The lack of self-respect, lack of a strong sense of nationalism, and inherent pride in their customs, roots and culture is appalling.
India could become the biggest economic power of the world. India can become the biggest military superpower but till the time we don’t stop prostrating before the foreigners, all development will be outwardly and hollow.

When Piyush Goyal took charge of coal, power and renewable energy, the new minister of state knew what he was signing up for. The very volatile ministry was infamous for not getting anything done. In the UPA era it was divided between three cabinet ministers.
The ministry was a complete mess with a 1. 8 lakh crore scam, stranded thermal power plants, Fuel shortages and mounting debt of state utilities.
When NDA came to power, the situation of 100 power plants monitored was so bad that as many as 38 were left with only a week’s worth of coal to burn, while 20 had as little as four or less days of coal stocks.
Nirmala Sitharaman should have been sacked because Dahisar economists and Uttam Nagar finance analysts say so.
The fact that she steered the country through its toughest times with few cuts and bruises is, of course, not a fashionable thing to say.
Another theory that I read from post 2014 political analysts on Twitter.
Piyush Goyal has been demoted.
PG, NirmalaS and DharmendraP are 3 absolute favourites of PM Modi. Among these 3 PG has the best organisational skills. He showed that as powerMin and then RailMin.

Now the portfolios he handles are closely intertwined. Textile, Commerce and Consumer affairs. Textile has terrific opportunities that Smriti Irani failed to capitalise upon. “Piyush Goyal with all his experience can totally turn it around.
This is a SS from the comment section of an article about Netflix series Designated survivor. You can see that Americans are nearly as fed up of their entertainment industry as we are of ours.
भांड - performer. A colloquial word for entertainers. From Vedic sabhas to Roman amphitheatres, they have been around throughout the human civilisation.
They remained constantly on the move, were taxed heavily and they weren’t political. Their job was only to entertain.
Imagine an entertainer lecturing an emperor over economic policy or that army shouldn’t attack or that police shouldn’t exist. Their heads would have been dutifully placed under the feet of elephants to be cracked open like coconuts.
Fall of Rome and the imminent fall of modern west: Wokeism and other things - A thread
Once upon a time, the Roman Empire was one of the mightiest empires on earth. It commanded an army so huge that there were very few parallels to it. Yet it fell. The fall of the Roman Empire is a highly debated topic in the academic circles.
But most agree on four basic reasons:
•Decay owing to general malaise
•Monocausal decay
•Catastrophic collapse
•Transformation
To connect the fall of the Roman Empire to the imminent fall of the modern west, I’ll use a mix of all 4 schools of thought.
We never like playing the told you so game. But here, see what we said 2 years back. We will soon hit you with a parallel and a more shocking development.
Those who know me know that I don’t deal in conspiracy theories so here’s another big forecast: Samajwadi Party is ready with a grand plan to snatch upper class votes from the BJP. And it will be done with “your” help. By you, I mean the gullible lot.
Watch out for RW warriors “created” in the last 2-3 years. They’ll come across as the most vocal supporters of Hindutva. They will keep telling you how BJP cheated Hindus. They will be the front line warriors for Samajwadi party this election and they wouldn’t directly praise SP.
So many things have happened in the past few months. From successfully controlling the first wave of coronavirus to a disastrous second wave, from almost winning West Bengal to post poll violence in Bengal after TMC’s thumping win, from being Israel’s BFF to appeasing Palestine.
Twitter is labelling anti-Congress news as fake, influencers world over calling the B.1.617 variant, Indian variant, shameful coverage of India’s Covid deaths in western media. Oxygen shortage, medicine shortage, ventilator shortage and faint chances of a big economic bounce-back
