I'm sitting here amused watching all the white men rush to give Bernie Sanders credit for another Biden accomplishment.
The Overton Window is just a construct to allow white men to claim credit for other people's work.
God help them if Bernie follows through with his threat to block the $3.5t infrastructure bill.

Now I see what happened.

Ryan Grim's pissy tweet referencing Obama was a follow-up to his own tweet of a clip of him describing how incompetent the Sanders campaign was.

Too bad they didn't succeed, they could've spared Bernie the humiliation of The Biden Beatdown™.
I'm thinking that rural Maryland area Grim hails from is REALLY rural.
I had to do some finagling to listen to Grim - who replaced Krystal Ball as one of the co-hosts of "Rising" - and the story he tells in the clip sounds really anti-union and anti-organizing. Not only that, Grim can't stop flubbing his lines.

Guess I've been binge listening to Steely Dan/Donald Fagen today. Its different.
By the way, when I watched the animated movie "Soul" the "terry" character reminded me of animation I'd seen in a music video somewhere. I just discovered it was the music vid for Donald Fagen's "New Frontier."
Doing this has reminded me that vibing to music while going for a cruise and/or drawing used to be my self care. They may have been a few herbal enhancements thrown in I dunno. Then, life took me away from all my favorite shit and its taken me decades to get back.

Back in high school our rookie HC thought he'd could just throw us right into the fire vs powerhouse St. Rita. The instant we walked off the bus we were shell shocked by the stadium.

It looked like a prison yard.

We got destroyed 31-0.

But then, I discovered something.
Before the game, the white players made the mistake of reading a local sport writer's predictions. He hadn't just predicted we'd lose, he took joy in making fun of our chances. They were very good, after all.

But after the game, the white players kept saying "How did he know?"
We would've probably lost anyway, but that's when I knew we never had a chance, because they just gave in to the prediction at the first sign of trouble. Then, the next week it was "St. Francis De Sales, another Chicago powerhouse. Like I said, the rookie HC's idea of genius."
