"It’s time for businesses to take a more serious approach to security."
In a discussion with @smallbiztrends, @rajuv shared a few tips on how businesses can survive during their toughest times. 👇
🔸Consider building a flexible workplace plan.
Consider opening smaller offices to reap cost-savings benefits, while adding to in-person collaboration. This will appease employees who prefer to work remote for a couple days a week and can live closer to the office.
🔸Invest in technology adoption and modernization.
Seek out integrated tools that are built to work and integrate well with third party applications. Businesses have had to digitize faster than ever, but selecting the right technology tools that out stand future crisis’ is key.
🔸Using cloud-based technology over on-premises solutions.
Cloud-based tools are reliable and have stronger security as updates are automatic and users don’t need to maintain the system. Since they update in real time, they also allow users to access more accurate data.
🔸Build a digital transformation strategy.
Strategizing digital technology will entail everything from the design of your website, customer experience, workflows, etc. Free, educational webinars can be of help to those who want to build their digital transformation strategy.
🔸Automate where you can.
Automating customer service, internal IT, sales, marketing and accounting of your business will save you critical time and money, especially when markets change in the future. This leads to fewer errors from manual entries and SLAs being reached faster.
🔸Take security and data privacy seriously.
Make sure to have a security protocol put into place to keep company data secure and safe. Closely examine the software your business uses and see if their data privacy practices align with your business values.
Unfortunately, no one has a crystal ball to see what the future holds. While every business is unique, there are always ways to encourage security & growth, no matter what the future holds.

"Cookies and other ad trackers are notorious for being cybersecurity threats and weakening your online privacy."
In this article by @EntrepreneurIND, @rajuv weighs in with his thoughts on how companies can protect their data and sensitive information from cyber-attacks.🧵
🔸Use ad-blockers and anti-tracking plugins on web browsers.
Pop-ups from online ads, cookies, and ad trackers are known for being cybersecurity threats. Advanced ad blockers and anti-tracking apps block irritating ads and stop those annoying pop-ups that weaken online privacy.
🔸Vet user agreements thoroughly and make software decisions accordingly.
If consumers and companies read these terms, conditions, and user agreements, they would find a lot that they disagree with, and may be more cautious with what software they feel comfortable downloading.
25 years ago, we started building a business on the foundation of trust and innovation.
Today, as we look back, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude and share our core values that have served as a guiding light throughout.✨ #ZohoTurns25
This year is special for all of us at Zoho.
If we had to sum up our entire journey and the principles that helped us get this far, this is how we'd do it.👇
Building not just products, but also technological know-how:
While creating business software is something we take pride in, we've also believed in nurturing talent, building deep-tech capability to create useful products, and empowering local communities to become self-reliant.
These past few months have been stressful for everyone.
We're living through an unprecedented pandemic that is putting a strain on people, businesses, and governments all around the world.
But we are here for you, and we want to help out in every way we can. #COVID19
While we've focused on empowering businesses right from the start, we're now expanding our efforts to two other verticals impacted by the pandemic—education and government.
The education and training sectors are bearing the brunt of the crisis with students and teachers having to make a sudden transition to online learning, something they were unprepared for.
