There are some recent claims about this bridge, I noticed that the previous Israeli government was not critiqued about this and even members of that government are now coming out suddenly to critique the new Israeli government which was in power only a month 🤔
So you notice that the same political voices now shouting about this and bringing up Meron….are the SAME ones who said nothing before the Meron disaster and were on board with having nothing done about it and no investigations…but now suddenly they bring it up?
Odd how this bridge was not used to try to stoke a crisis with Jordan and the PA in Jerusalem under the last government, but suddenly became a risk in June 2021. Bridges don’t become unsafe overnight, if it was unsafe it was unsafe for years….nothing was done
Those members of the previous Israeli government who never raised a voice are suddenly giving speeches about this solely to create a crisis with Jordan and also they were fearful to say anything before…
Behind the crisis stoking with Jordan over Jerusalem is an agenda being pushed in recent days, including scurrilous claims about oil and Iran etc. it’s all nonsense.
Is the bridge unsafe? Maybe it is. So then it should have been fixed long ago. Why wasn’t it. Is the other goal here to close it for “fixing” to create another crisis not only with Jordan but the religious far right?
I mean how did it become “urgent” in July but not in May or before? 🤔

Thread: Descriptions of European ISIS are always interesting, how they turn the adults into "trapped" victims; no one forced thousands of privileged people from wealthiest EU countries to travel to poor Syria and Iraq to enslave, colonize, genocide locals. Adults aren't "trapped" Image
The adult women trapped themselves. They came from the MOST privileged countries in the world and illegally crossed into Syria and sometimes Iraq, traded in slaves and genocide. It's like pretending former Nazis were "trapped" after the Shoah because they couldn't travel freely
There are trapped people, such as the millions abused and whose lives were ruined and harmed by ISIS. They don't get much support. In fact in terms of coverage one European will get more coverage than millions in Syria and Iraq.

The drone that was recovered after an attack on Erbil looks similar design to the Iranian-origin "remains of an Iranian Shahed-123 unmanned aerial vehicle are seen at the Iranian Materiel Display at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C., 2018."

Strong words from Israel's new FM on this Golan issue; Foreign Minister Yair Lapid in response to reports on the Golan Heights:

"The Golan Heights are a strategic asset and integral part of the sovereign State of Israel."
Lapid: "The US has recognized our sovereignty over the Golan Heights and their strategic importance to Israel’s security. Anybody who spreads rumours about the cancelation of this recognition harms security and the declaration of sovereignty..."
"...and is willing (not for the first time) to bring about real damage to the State of Israel and endanger its security and relations with the US, just in order to harm the new government."

In naval strategy when you are trying to hide in the high seas you try not to tell your adversaries where you are...that's why Admiral Nelson had a heck of a time in 1798; marinesol.org/nelsons-pursui…
Of course Iran's fleet is not led by those like Von Spee.
