Also on the network's the app is pinging more often, but the time to isolate is a lot shorter. Ppl are getting 5 sometimes 3 days to isolate.

Saw yesterday that in South Tyneside 21% of cases were coming back positive

I know official case numbers are always an underestimate but the scale of the underestimate could be increasing

I'm worried that while the data looks like growth is slowly, that might just be the data.
If there's an increasing lag for results then this would give the impression that the rate is slowly.

You might find that the line straightens once late results are added

Although it looks like its mainly the North in trouble, zooming in on the map you see hotspots dotted across everywhere
"COVID-19 Map for schools" put in your school, see the local rate, I prefer it to the gov map, its their data on Google maps schoolcovidmap.org.uk
Unfortunately it looks like the speed we test, trace and isolate might be more important with Delta and we are heading in the wrong direction.

So they are scrapping isolation in schools and replacing it with a single PCR in Sept, official starr mod August
Now they're going to switch off test and trace in schools!
