1. I don't think it is honest to say that people rejoin ZanuPF because MDC Alliance is not Nationalistic in nature. That's not a correct assessment. People leave MDC because it is in every respect a voluntary organization.
2. ZanuPF has used access to State Power to control everything. Chombo and Hamandishe wanted to appease ED after their expulsion and they wore ED PFEE regalia and took selfies and posted them. They swiftly got arrested for "criminal nuisance"
3. The party creates an ecosystem for its members so that they can get whatever they want without any protocol or legal basis. People are given or they take farms as they please. Chipanga has a farm, all those people from G40 had farms courtesy of Zanu-PF.
4. They had cars and access to fuel as and when they pleased, they had access to gold mines and sweetheart backdoors with Fidelity Printers. When they are expelled, everything stops. They can't exist successfully outside the party because of patronage.
5. The party is a parasite, which sucks all the coffers of the State dry as and when it wants. Chiefs who got cars in 2018, got another addition at the Nehanda Statue unveilling. You see it is an ecosystem based on easy access to everything you want.
6. Look, even ED fled to SA after he was fired because he knew he was not going to survive. They had pages and pages of dockets ready for him. The single organizing factor for ZanuPF is circumvention of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.
7. People join the party to stay with that immunity from jail card. Faber Chidarikire had a whole human head wrapped in a plastic in his car trunk. ZRP stopped him and saw the head, his response: "I picked it up at an accident" 😂..its not funny but think of it.
8. Kumbirai Kangai was implicated in corruption over maize, whether he did it or not is another story but do you know what Mugabe did in response? He referred him to John Nkomo for "counselling"😂😂..no charges, nothing.
9. People in ZanuPF are in for a reason, Chief amongst them is to be untouchable, they rejoin for the same reason.. To be above the constitution. Access land and privileges without following any procedure. It attracts and retains selfish people who care about themselves only.
10. For sure MDC has its own weaknesses, but it has nothing to attract trained and cultured criminals who are bent on living off taxpayers money without being encumbered by obedience to the law. It is not the MDC's fault that gangsters return to their old gang.
1. Please let us keep vigilant. Get vaccinated. Zimbabwe likely has 3 or more variants in circulation, if you get infected by 2 at once they can swap genetic elements giving rise to new variants which spread faster and could be dangerous. Sinopharm/sinovac works. Get vaccinated.
2. 50% protection is better than zero dear people. Get vaccinated, there is snowballs chance in hell that Zimbabwe will get the Pfizer and Moderna vaxs which are showing good stats against delta variant. Just get your shot if you can.
3. We all do not have answers at this point about a number of things on Sinopharm and Sinovac but they are WHO approved at this point. So, we cannot pick and choose because we simply might not get the "preferred" vaccines we want/desire.
1. The sobering realization from the Sentry's Investigative report is that the elite get money so easy and can pay any amount to anyone and they have greased everyone and anyone who is essential for their preferred political party to stay in power.
2. Dismantling this well oiled entity which involves local and foreign partners requires Zimbabweans locally and abroad to have unity of purpose. There comes a time that we have to honestly take stock of our country.
3. The rampant and brazen acquisition of State assets and immediate shipping of debt to the citizen has gone on for too long. This is not going to work for anyone. In 5yrs all mining assets and any other national resource will be the property of one person.
1. 1 organic beef ribeye steak
Oven 😂
Salt, freshly ground black pepper, beef spices.
Extra virgin olive oil
Pour ¾ lid of olive oil on top of the nyama and rub in the spices generously. You can leave the nyama overnight with spices or at least 3hrs so that the spices really set
2. Preheat oven to 345Farenheit, and then place the meat into a baking pan or even a glass pan. A lid of olive oil must set the base for the meat 👈 important step this one. Use bake oven setting for this recipe👈importanter.
3. Bake for 45 minutes or an hour turning the meat every 10-15 minutes so that it "yibvas" evenly. The olive oil will ensure that it is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Depending on how you like your meat, and hour would be for "well done" variety.
1. Our problem is that we hear the word village and what pops up is an image of a place without any electricity and functional ablution facilities. When you travel the globe, you see what others call a village you'll quickly be ashamed.
2. We are as educated as they are, we have 10000 dams and 300 days of sunlight but we are content with our elders hiding in the bushes to defecate, with young ones making fun of them. We are ok with not having taped water delivered to our cousins back in the village.
3. We seem to have accepted that this backwardness bestows some virtue or purity to the extent that our vision for rural areas is limited. I respected the MDC Plan on Development and Urbanization of Rural Areas.
1. There are intelligent people who will select only the dullest people to be their friends, in so doing, they create an army of praise singers and individuals who cannot challenge them. That was Robert Mugabe. You can never find competence in those he surrounded himself with🚮.
2. When the moral test of character was presented, they never stood up. You only hear of their "virtue" from themselves. The situation on the ground shows they went along with Mugabe on his ruinous path, suddenly they are bastions of reason.
3. "Paraquating" their way into infamy, they are the first to point to how Mugabe, in all his wisdom or lack thereof, was the best thing after sliced bread..nonsense. History can't be reversed, but it is instructive on where on critical moments we stood.
1. One interesting thing I've learnt over the past 5yrs is that being married in Zim is vastly different from being married in the diaspora. You see, Zim men have it "good", I put it in quotes coz well it is very much debatable that the situation is good 😂
2. When my daughter was born, it was just me and my wife, no relatives, no tetes or Gogos to come and takeover care etc. It was a tough period for me and for my wife. I had never been a dad, I thought I was prepared but I wasn't. You see no one said babies are permanent 😂
3. Like once they come, they are here to stay...they poop, cry and drool and they just don't go away for a second so that you can take a break...nope it is a 24hr job. Without the kind of support system you have in Zim, it is stressful and takes a toll on both parents.
