What’s changed since the insurrection, law enforcement pressure and internal disagreement have led to splintering amongst chapters in large militias. But young neo-Nazi growth online continues & they are meeting up in person
Those extremists accelerating, organizing in last 6 months are collectives better with technology & not under investigative pressure. Hence younger white supremacists.

Assuming all the details in this story are correct, (checks calendar) this would mean USA 🇺🇸 suffered another ransomware attack from alleged Russian criminals & a Russian Intel agency hack on a political party 2 weeks after the Biden-Putin summit #NotDeterred
As noted in story, was this breach or attempt to infiltrate the RNC by Russian intelligence service coordinated with a diversionary Russian criminal ransomware campaign? Maybe not, would be quite damning if determined
2- if Putin knew of the targeting & approved hacking of RNC post summit, pretty brilliant. Attack the opponent of Biden test American resolve in cyberspace broadly (will 🇺🇸 do anything?) & Test Biden’s commitment defending ‘all’ Americans including GOP used kompromat

for almost a decade, the U.S. response in cyberspace has been hand wringing, half steps, sanctions, charges against hackers unlikely to be arrested. Not gonna work, we know this because problem has only gotten worse
