Dr. Brilliant was being conservative about Delta.

Peaked at an average 3.71 days. (

1,260 times more viral load.

On a side note the GuangDong CDC has consistently given great cutting-edge science that has later been replicated by others. Image

Please pay attention to how the Chinese government has responded. Image
Note...besides their past work, this is excellent, methodical work. Image
Finally, just in case some random person finds this thread, the symptoms of Delta can be like that of allergies, a cold, or headache.

H/T @kprather88 for the article. @trishgreenhalgh for the below graphic. Image

Excellent recommendations here by Dr. Noakes and her team.

In particular, I like the recommendations for NBPI!

Ionization in the house!

Source next tweet.
Just kidding! Not a negative or positive ion recommendation to be found, of course.

But, in all seriousness, a note of caution was found. Image
I appreciated the candor of the report in regards to using the pandemic impetus to improve overall health in buildings (Part A). Image

CoVid is a numbers game.

And the Delta numbers are scary.

H/T @danaparish. Not sure if that is an expression of gratitude or "my god, my god, my eyes cannot unsee this."

⚠️Serious trigger warning. Especially before bed.⚠️

And....into the thick of it.

Let's start with the conclusion first.

2.5 time the hospital load we had in January by mid-September/October.

Many times the daily death count of 4400.

The #LongCoVid count will be staggering. ImageImage
Why?

An unvaccinated 100 million nation living in our midst. Image

Excellent rebuttal to "SARS-CoV-2 routes of transmission and recommendations for preventing acquisition: joint British Infection Association (BIA), Healthcare Infection Society (HIS), Infection Prevention Society (IPS) and Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) guidance

Some of those who have RT'd the Bak et al (2021) - you should read this thread, as your citation had feet of clay, and it just crumbled.

CoVid is airborne via aerosols. You need vaccines, masks, and ventilation (or air cleaners) to stop transmission.

Dr. Huffman knows aerosols. You should listen to him.
Shared bedrooms are not a good idea. But if you are going to, please put a portable HEPA air cleaner in between the roommates. Or next to each bed. Image
Plexiglass stops droplets. Not aerosols.

A far better idea is to move all of that equipment outside.

Or remove all of the windows, AND put portable HEPA air cleaners between each machine. Image

Well, just tried to get a booster through my local health clinic. I am immunocompromised and my girlfriend has to go back into the office.

Nope.

Doctors can be so arrogant, and in this case I had to break out the stats.

Won the argument, but this clinic can't do it.

.
So, got a completely useless recommendation to the Infectious Diseases unit who can override the CDC recommendations.

3 months out.

Well...thanks to @DraganOrlich, time to just drive to see an out of the way pharmacy and get it.

Will have to lie, which I am not a fan of.

But.
If the CDC can lie about masks for 4 months.

If they can lie about the impact to kids to force schools to restart on the behalf of the Walton's and Kochs.

If they can push through the Demasking of America, for why? Still not sure?

Then, I can certainly lie to protect myself.
