Our chums at the Daily Express put this in their paper today...

But as is usual it doesn't quite tell the whole story... 1/8

The article quotes Sir Ed Davey (Lib Dem Leader and former UK Energy Secretary) but as is usual with out unionist chums they are being a bit... how to say this delicately... selective with the truth... 2/8

Sir Ed is correct that as part of the UK that Scotland and rUK share a common infrastructure when it comes to Energy, particularly electricity....

But we're going to call BS on Ed's assertion that rUK is an "Energy Customer"... 3/8

You see Scotland doesn't "sell" electricity to rUK, they just take it without paying us for it as part of our "pooling and sharing of resources"... As they do with our Oil, Gas, Water too... 4/8

So in the event that a newly divorced rUK didn't want to buy "Scottish Energy" then all that would happen is that Indy Scotland would stop giving away its Energy for Free...

Now I'm no economist but surely stopping giving things away for free means you are better off?... 5/8

Added to which Scotland is the ONLY Country in the UK with more Energy and Water than it can use so when we stop handing it over to rUK for free as soon as we sell one kilowatt hour or litre of water we're better off...

Do you know who won't be better off... rUK! 6/8

Plus this is what happens when you leave the UK Gov't in charge of Scotlands resources...

Try not to cry, try not to imagine what we could have had if we had been independent... Because it will break your heart... 7/8

As we begin the transition from Oil and Gas to Renewables it's imperative that Scotland gains control over our Energy Output, and the only way we can make a success of that, just like Norway has with Oil and Gas is to be, just like them, a normal independent Country. 8/8

As we all know the SNP were the largest party in the Scottish Elections in May, and whilst an SNP majority would have been lovely it was sadly not to be. So we have had to enter into negotiations with our friends in the @scottishgreens. 1/16

Peterhead is a Coastal Community on a rather inhospitable stretch of our coast. Our RNLI Volunteers are very active saving lives regularly and we appreciate their efforts and bravery.

Recently the RNLI have suffered a wee bit of a backlash as they also operate in the English Channel and in doing so have saved many Migrants attempting dangerous crossings from drowning.

As the video says the RNLI don't judge.... they rescue

If someone drifts too far from the beach on an inflatable unicorn, they don't judge.... they rescue

This is a tweet from Veteran tory MP @johnredwood who it seems isn't happy with the lack of information being offered by Electric Car Manufacturers. We couldn't help but see the parallels between his confusion and his support for Vote Leave and Brexit...

Maybe the sneaky gits who make the ads know the journey of the average buyer. We suspect it kinda goes like this….

The Buyer likes the idea of an Electric Car, and wants one, though they don’t really know why....

They do some maths and realise that they are handing Oil Companies £113 a week conveniently forgetting that some of that is refunded.

They really like that idea of that Electric Car, despite never having seen one, as it offers “freedom from the oppression of Oil Companies”

Well Liz Truss has thrashed out the first "from scratch" trade deal, and it's with Australia. There's been a lot said about how this will affect farmers.

Here's how it will affect Animal Welfare.... 1/8

Barren Battery Cages - mean each hen has an area smaller than an A4 sheet of paper to move around in.
Sow Stalls - are a cage where a Sow can't move or even turn around. 2/8

Hormone Fed Beef - The calves are injected with hormones to speed their growth, this is necessary as the nutrition to raise cows on grass like in the UK just isn't there in Australia. It comes with both animal and public health concerns.
