Natural Law

Few things have quite so crystal clear a beginning. This does. The study of Natural Law for any American patriot begins in the very first paragraph of our Declaration of Independence.
2) Here is the key phrase: "the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them." We'll discuss "the separate and equal station" first. Then, Natural Law will be our true target.
3) As always, honor to my teacher is my delightful task. @shestokas is my greatest teacher of American history, of our founding, of the legal basis of our nation's destiny. You must buy his book:

amazon.com/Creating-Decla…
4) Separate and equal station. There is a great fallacy in modern liberalism. When all are subjected to the greater whole, none are either separate or equal. The New World Order, the Great Cabal, they want none of us to be separate, let alone any separate nations.
5) Equality is a mathematical concept. It is more, though. It is the very beginning of logical thinking.

1 + 1 = 2.

1 and 1 are equal.

In spite of the 2 that results from their addition, 1 and 1 remain both separate and equal. Math goes both directions.
6) The ability to count requires that a single unit, a 1, be able to be defined. Our Declaration defines us as a separate but equal nation. It is impossible to emphasize quite strongly enough the mathematical nature of this declaration.
7) We'll discuss that again many times in the future. We must move forward to what @shestokas taught me. It centers on the terms: "the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God."
8) Here's what he explained. One path is Natural Law - the Laws of Nature. A second path is revelation - The Laws of Nature's God. A third path is their perfect integration. For all the times I'd read the Declaration, I never understood those three paths before.
9) If you wish to truly follow, you must allow for each of the three paths to be either right or wrong. Perhaps there is no such thing as Natural Law. It is a fiction concocted by foolish men. Perhaps there is no such thing as Divine Law, a fiction concocted. Do you follow?
10) Study of Thomas Jefferson will reveal the following. He completely believed in both. He believed that there was such a thing as Natural Law. He believed utterly in Divine Law, Divine Revelation. And of course, he believe in their complete integration. He was not alone.
11) In the Enlightenment, the predomenant belief among the educated class was this. Natural Law exists. We must study it in order to divine Divine Law. God's signature is to be found in the Laws of Nature. A new nation must found itself upon both, and upon their integration.
12) Allow me turn very personal. A true believer from birth to age 20, I lost my faith. I was such a happy agnostic from age 20 - age 27. Then, so sadly, I woke up one Saturday morning and realized that intellectual integrity demanded I call out as an Atheist. I was so sad.
13) Why did I have to? I stopped believing it was even possible for there to be a loving deity caring about his creation. The question of evil toppled my openness to the possibility of a divine being. If one can't even consider the possibility, one is no longer an agnostic.
14) Over the decades that followed, I discovered the problem of Atheism. It proclaims impossible knowledge. To be a pure Atheist is to say, "there is NO God." This is to say, "I know that this is impossible, and anyone who disagrees is wrong."
15) No such knowledge can be asserted honestly. Thus, I am now, finally, able to reject Atheism completely. What a relief! I am a true Agnostic. I am a happy Sceptic. No, I do NOT believe in a personal deity, a loving God who is both creator and master of the universe.
16) The logical parameter I missed before was this. Disbelief does NOT equal belief. That I do NOT believe in a personal God does NOT mean I do believe in his certain non-existence. Ha! Disbelief does NOT = Belief. I am allowed to disbelieve, uncertainly. Ha!
17) But what I do believe in is...wait for it...Natural Law. To do so, I must be able to put forward at least a theory as to how such a thing might exist, and especially exist without the source of a loving deity as its father.
18) For the answer, I turn to the ancient Greeks. One of their definitions of God was this:

The uncaused first cause.

Please, I must request, imagine the humility of this statement. To do so, we must delve into the nature of logic itself.
19) Human logic is built upon the following relationship:

Every effect results from its cause.

Or,

There are NO uncaused things. All things have causes.

And,

Causes always precede effects.
20) One of my greatest disbeliefs, and greatest joys in my delightful skepticism is this. I do NOT believe in the Big Bang. We can discuss why not more another time. Here's my challenge. Ask any Big Bang believer what caused it? You'll see a head explode.
21) The term is "infinite regression." Go back and back, one thing caused another. What was the very first cause? The Greeks had a simple, humble answer. The first cause was uncaused. God was his name. God is the limit of human logic. One believes by faith, not logic.
22) As once again so-happy an agnostic, I do not believe in anything by faith alone. I never surrender my logic. But I do acknowledge its limits, with soulful humility. I do NOT know what the first cause was. That discovery is beyond the limits of logic. Thus, agnosticism for me.
23) As a happy agnostic, I am NOT allowed to be coy. I do not believe in the incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ. I do not believe in a death and resurrection and subsequent ascension to heaven. And most of all, I do not believe in original sin or its redemption.
24) But an agnostic has to still believe in something. I do. I believe in a universe that is larger than a human mind can comprehend. Call it a mystery, and I'm good by that. I have no idea how we got here. I believe we are, and that we must tease out clues to our meaning.
25) And when it comes to the human spirit, there seems to be this thing called rights. Life, Liberty, The Pursuit of Happiness, Property. Those four. You can try to dispute them by logic and you will fail. Natural Law resides within those human rights. Logic decrees them.
26) Go ahead. Deny that you're alive. Why should we listen to you? Deny that you desire liberty. Why should we believe you? Slavery is better than liberty? What other options are there? Logic disallows any other.
27) But you don't care about happiness? Okay. I can accept that, for you yourself. I cannot accept that for your greater cause. You want happiness for the workers of the world. You want some entity's happiness. Happiness is logically inescapable. As is its pursuit.
28) Since 1913, growingly, Americans have become tax slaves. We no longer have the right of our property. We do not own the product of our work. Property is no longer a right, for Americans. This is the very fact of our fall. Taxation has become theft.
29) Corruption. We attempted with our Constitution, with its checks and balances, to obstruct corruption. We succeeded...adequately...for a while. By 1913, we failed. We allowed the power of corruption to take over our republic. We allow unapportioned, direct taxation.
30) In case you handn't noticed, my true nature is as a libertarian, anarcho capitalist. I don't like nation states. I don't like taxation empowered agencies. I am no fan of the IRS. I don't approve of tax withholding from paychecks. I don't like social security, either.
31) Not famously enough, Thomas Jefferson stated that he dreamed that no tax man would ever darken the door of a single American patriot. From its founding until 1913, the financial basis of our government was from tariffs. Imagine that!
32) Natural Law decrees that individual citizens will always need protection against the local mighty. The Mafia is a protection racket. The government is its legal competitor. Lawful protection for equal citizens is the government's obligation.
33) But since 1913, America's government has become our living mafia. What is a living mafia? It is that force you must be most afraid of. It offers protection. But protection from whom? Most of all, protection from itself. This is the very definition of corruption.
34) There is a cure. Life. Liberty. The Pursuit of Happiness. Property. These four rights. You need not believe in God in order to embrace these four human rights. Or, if like most people you do, you may by faith honor God with the authorship of these rights.
35) Of the three paths, skepticism, faith, their integration, I know of no champion of skepticism. Well, patriotic skepticism. Of the skeptics I know, none are also patriots. Natural Law as opposed to Divine Law. I adore their integration. But I do not believe in that, I'm sorry.
36) My own honest belief is that there is no Divine Law. My belief is in Natural Law. I'll say that another way. I believe that Divine Law, as such, is derived from Natural Law. But I'm a skeptic. So, you may easily dismiss my beliefs!
37) And therein we discover the genius of our founders. They knew about souls like me. They let me be me. I love them. But they also knew about true faith and its role in founding a new nation. I honor them for that.
38) Let's turn back to pure faith. God willed a nation to arise. That nation embodied His will for humans. He granted humans the rist to their own life, their being. He granted them their right to freedom. He wanted all of us to be happy, to pursue our own happiness.
39) And by all means, yes, God will us to be wealthy, each of us. He willed us to create the basis of our own wealth, our financial happiness. A nation that cares about its income over its citizen's wealth has lost the blessing of God.
40) What destiny, America? Nature's Laws and the Laws of Nature's God must be perfectly integrated. Believer and skeptic alike must be empowered as patriots. This is my request. This is my faith.

China’s Trade

The always amazing and informative @JackPosobiec posted this image for us. It couldn't be more important. Let's discuss it thoughtfully. Image
2) We'll start with a quick bit of background. For the full story, we'd have to go back to Nixon, Kissinger, and Carter. But for our purposes, the story can commence with Bush 41, and include Clinton and Bush 43. The key is the WTO.
3) Tiananmen Square was a moment. Bush 41 could have led the world to condemn it, and scorn China's evil CCP. Instead, he granted them the right to oppress their people. He rejected Democracy's principles of freedom when it came to China. The shame echoes on to this day.

The Meaning Of Words

So there I was, yesterday, having a wonderful conversation with a brilliant soul. Our topic was grief and grieving, as a pet is aging and will soon pass away. My question was: do you feel you've ever experienced true grief? Image
2) I could NOT have been more shocked than to hear the response. It came it two parts.

1) I have philosophy, it helps. It gives me comfort.

2) There is no such thing as ownership. I never owned my pet, as one never actually owns anything.
3) I so profoundly wish I were a wiser man. The philosophical error here was, for my great friend, far less important than his emotional distress. A wiser man than me would have known that and left the philosophy behind. The heart rules. Not the brain or mind.

Hoodwinked, The Wool Over Our Eyes

What are your purse strings? Your purse is your coin, hanging from your belt by strings. Having such a purse, you're rich. Therefore, you wear a woolen wig. Wigs made out of wool are a thing. Image
2) When we hoodwink you, we pull down your wig and cut your purse strings at the same time. We pull the wool down over your eyes. We trick you. We steal from you. We make you blind for the moment at take your coin from you. It's fun and profitable. Thieving is fun.
3) The word "heist" is a slight mispronunciation of the word "hoist." It means to lift. We hoist up the sails. We lift them up. We take the wealth of a bank or a train car with cash in it. We hoist it. It is a heist. Very similar to cutting your purse strings, yes?

UPDATE: I've taken a screenshot of Lin Wood's response to the story that broke yesterday and you can see that below. I will also provide the quote in full in coming tweets right now. He made these comments at his Telegram channel, here:
t.me/linwoodspeakst…
2) Here are Lin's thoughts quoted in full:

"The Detroit “Free” Press is a Mockingbird propaganda rag owned by Gannett. Talk about Communist propaganda!
3) "Here is an example from this fictional article published today that shows you how objective, factual reporting does not exist at Gannett newspapers:

Our Missing Chain Of Command

There are a couple of stories out right now that are both upsetting, and worse, I fear they're connected in important ways. The first is the Jenna Ellis story. She's left the Republican Party.

thegatewaypundit.com/2021/07/wth-go…
2) We won't follow either story in their details. What we need to do is find the unifying theme within them both. Here, however, is the second story, about Lin Wood and Sydney Powel. I sure hate seeing this.

newsweek.com/lin-wood-blame…
3) The obvious unifying theme is dissenssion among our ranks, more seriously, among the ranks of our leaders. Let's look at that carefully. Here is a simple schematic of a Chain Of Command"

* Junior Leader

Charlottesville’s Missing Monuments: China’s Joy, Local Vacancies

Ultimate excellence lies
Not in winning
Every battle
But in defeating the enemy
Without ever fighting.

Sun-tzu. The Art of War - John Minford ImageImage
2) What's going on here in Charlottesville with the removal of our monuments is non-violent warfare at its best. Be clear, China - along with its minions here in the United States - is savoring this moment with pure delight and the prideful joy of a job well done.
3) We'll dive into the dynamics in a moment, but first please consider how completely critical each of the two books above really is, and their position of importance on our reading list. They are #2 & #15. Image
