9 yrs ago tonight I went to bed in peace. I have not known peace since. At the midnight premier of The Dark Knight Rises our Jessi was slaughtered with 11 others. The killer easily bought his arsenal online without a background check. People KNEW (1)
that something was wrong with him...including his parents & therapist. How many others are there out there that are not stable enough to be in procession of a firearm? How many others are purchasing arsenals on line without so much as a verification of (2)
there identity. How many other innocent lives will continue to be taken. Since our Jessi was slaughtered, 360,000 other families have learned how easy it is to have this nightmare happen to them. Don't be one of them. Get involved...(3)

leg. They hit her abdomen three times destroying organs, tissues, muscles. One hit her collarbone shattering it to pieces. And as she laid there trying to survive and screaming in agony the 6th bullet hit her. This one struck her in her left orbital and blowing a 5 inch (2)
hole in her beautiful face. It blew her brains onto the theater seats and floor and onto her friend. So your "hobby" destroys. Destroys hopes, dreams, futures, lives. I suggest you get another f-ing hobby! She was 24. Her whole life ahead of her. Look at her and I hope (3)

Media! It is great to see you talking with survivors of school shootings. Their voices are so important. You must also remember the other mass shootings where survivors are told they are crisis actors and that their loved ones didn't die. Las Vegas, Aurora, Sutherland Springs (1)
Tree of Life, Aurora and others have had the same vitriol spat at them...and let's remember the survivors of shootings across the country that have been told that their loved ones don't matter because it was "gang violence" or "black on black" crime or "accidental" or a (2)
suicide. They have had hate, racism, ignorant statements made to them and no one has paid attention. Your attention MUST go deeper. Gun violence is connected to every social justice in our country. MTG is just the current mouthpiece spewing the vitriol we've all heard for (3)

The responses to my post yesterday have really touched my heart. I love/hate all the "should be's" you all have posted. It is a reminder that it can never be just about OUR shooting, OUR loved one, OUR pain. 1/4

2. From the beginning, we've stated that the movie isn't the problem; easy access to firearms in America is. @WarnerBros must release this movie -- and all movies -- responsibly by leaning into gun reform.
3. @kaj33 suggests that our campaign extorts @warnerbros & slimes @jokermovie. Let's be real: if @WarnerBros announces it's ending political donations to @NRA candidates -- it will see a boost!! An overwhelming supermajority of Americans *support* gun reform.
