Tropical Rainforest Biome: Climate, Locations, Plants

earthandhuman.org/tropical-rainf…
Tropical Rainforest Biome refers to an ecosystem composed of vast, sprawling forests. It covers about 7% of the Earth’s surface and forms one of the most massive biomes. This biome is mainly composed of vegetation.
The Amazon Rainforest is currently the largest tropical rainforest biome in the world.
The hot and humid climate is perfect for the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms. It is suitable for a large variety of plants and animals. The average temperature in this biome remains at approximately 77° F all year round. The humidity also remains between 77 – 88%.
The amount of rainfall a tropical rainforest receives depends mostly on the location of these forests. The highest amount of rainfall is seen in lowland equatorial evergreen rainforests. The total rain here averages to over 80 inches each year.
Tropical rainforests house a broad range of plant species. The Amazon Rainforest alone boasts of over 40,000 plant species. The high humidity and rainfall contribute to lush greenery.
Tropical Rainforests house living organisms more than any other biome in the world. We have identified approximately 15 million different species of animals, and yet there are more to explore.

Solar Road: How does It Work and What are Its Advantages? earthandhuman.org/solar-road/
These solar roads were a concept originated by a US-based company called Solar Roadways. They developed solar panels that include LED lights to create lines that spare us from using paint that emit harmful chemicals.
They can even accumulate ice and snow through their heating elements. Moreover, these solar road panels feature microprocessors that make them smart and allow them to communicate with each other and with the central control station and the vehicles.
