To compliment Adam’s excellent arguments, I want to start a conversation about value.

How is this UCP government getting it so wrong about the value of nurses and other traditionally female roles in the workforce?
While we are all fatigued with covid “this” & covid “that,” at one point in the pandemic, the public’s perception of value shifted to recognize essential workers as heroes and possessing high value to society at large.

UCP is aiming to remove any memory of that paradigm shift.
The pandemic taught civilization, and the individuals who inhabit it, that essential workers make society function. But it’s also these workers who are treated with the least value in economic terms.

Many of them make crappy wages and get few benefits beyond their rate of pay.
If we as a population forget these hard learned lessons, we deserve the fate UCP is trying to create.

Medical professionals, grocery workers, transportation workers, teachers, dedicated public servants, and water, power & energy infrastructure workers are essential.
Our society cannot function appropriately without them doing their work.

Yet some of us balk at the amount those labour positions require in compensation & social respect.

Why?

Because UCP applies a higher value for employers, corporations, & financial services instead.
As the issues managers (propagandists) incite jealousy and resentment of nurses for making the Alberta Sunshine lists during a deadly overwhelming pandemic, our tendency to forget the systemic problems the pandemic revealed increases.
But that’s an individual choice. We can choose to push back on ideology that devalues those who contribute to quality of life for all vs value those who seek to maintain the system that has made us all collectively suffer for decades through contempt for quality of life for all.
Because that is exactly what is being asked of the population right now by UCP.

UCP is actually proposing we punish the people who worked throughout the pandemic to sustain life and the key elements we required to survive during the crisis.
Healthcare, food availability, food & goods transportation, essential public services (registries, public infrastructure, etc.), utilities, and sanitation.

We cannot survive as individuals in a society that does not value these services.
Every one of the workers in those services is essential to our collective survival as a society. We won’t all survive without them.

None of us can afford to pay for them individually. But collectively, through taxes, we pay for those services to sustain the lives of all of us.
That’s the benefit of living in a society. Pretty much the only benefit really. Otherwise we would live in small groups of like minded people who didn’t get on our nerves or compete for our collective resources.

It’s the whole point of large civilizations. Interdependence.
Small familial groups can set rigid rules, norms, mores, laws & wealth distribution. They also don’t progress much.

Large complex progressive societies require formal rules, laws & norms & labour specialization. They’re Interdependent.

They need a Social Contract.
Social contract theories have evolved from justification for totalitarian monarchal/parliamentary authority to defining modern roles and responsibilities of governments and citizens.
Throughout the Enlightenment Era, several philosophers contributed to the modern concept of a social contract: the idea that we sacrifice absolute freedom to benefit from living in a collective and diverse group.
Many have contributed to this concept. But ultimately we pay taxes, adhere to fed/prov laws & socially positive norms & tolerate diversity to benefit from healthcare, education & pooling resources that enhance human existence including technology & modern healthcare.
The social contract is the bedrock on which corner stones of democracy are laid upon.

Without a social contract, there is no social cohesion, no unity, no universally shared benefits.

It just becomes many people living in close quarters competing for resources & relevance.
That’s what UCP is aiming for.

While it seems counterintuitive to want a less peaceful civilization, it’s a repeatedly used method of power usurpation used throughout history.

Canadians may be the most educated society in western civilization, but obviously not in history.
Modern Western Civilization is in the midst of societal collapse.

UCP is at the helm of that collapse in Alberta. While we all know UCP is imposing policies that REGRESS as opposed to progress, most of us don’t know specifically why.

There is a method to their madness.
History informs us if we pay attention.

Most people believe that UCP is trying to recreate the 1950’s.

Not so.

It’s more like the 1850’s they seek to recreate. Without the scientific, liberalist, and humanist influence of the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment.
UCP supporters want to regress to the wealth disparity of the Gilded Age, when unions, women, BIPOC & LGBTQ had no political power. The oligarchs & plutocrats funding the ideological shifts in civilization are using climate change and a pandemic to ensure that becomes reality.
Many past generations have lived through climate change and pestilence created by a confluence of natural & man made influences, so this is not the first global societal regression due to climate change.

Christianity gained a monopoly due to societal collapse caused by plague.
Several other eras where climate change and pestilence converged resulted in enormous political and economic shifts. Some beneficial and some detrimental to elite power structures like churches & monarchies. Policy makes all the difference in who obtains/retains power.
In highly complex civilizations, social progress brings reduced reproductive rates, class mobility, and ultimately an existential threat to the established hierarchy and the social and political order. Which, for millennia has been a patriarchal hierarchy of the wealthiest.
Which is precisely what UCP is aiming to reinstate when introducing policies that attack the social, political and economic power of those who threaten the established, traditional, rigid, patriarchal power structures.

Seems “replacement theory” is centuries old in origin.
You can see in this chart that violent challenges to established authority are preceded by social decay & it’s cyclical. As humans progress towards social equity & democracy, the level of backlash increases through violent conflict & a reduction in the size of population occurs.
It’s at these divisive and deadly junctures when power grabs are made.

There are no guarantees who will end up with power. But it tends to favour those with wealth, resources and the use of violence.

This point in human history is no different.
Conservatives plan to continue to exacerbate climate change and destroy the climate. Their plans are to keep fossil fuel development in place, regardless of the cost. While scientists warn to stay below 1.5 degrees, cons and industry oligarchs plan to approach 4 degrees. But
The devastation and catastrophic changes to earth’s ecosystems would be profound if 4 degrees is the cons tipping point.

But that’s entirely the point. As the level of catastrophic climate change occurs, the death rates will as well.
Unlike the plagues and climate changes that wiped out half of Europe’s population in history, the goal is to eliminate most of the globe’s population. There are position papers that aim for 250M. While our current population is close to 8B and estimated to be 10B by 2030.
But it won’t be 10B if we maintain current levels of fossil fuel use or increase it.

It will be mass death and destruction. Food shortages, increased frequency and intensity of catastrophic climate events, droughts, floods, loss of arable land & potable water.
Billions will die.

When those billions are removed, the use of fossil fuels is no longer a problem.

Reducing green house gasses pumped into the atmosphere will be accomplished by reducing the number of people who inhabit the earth.

Leaving the current oligarchy in place.
They have no intention of surrendering their position of the top of the established hierarchy. And they obviously have no qualms about causing a global apocalypse that reduces the globe’s population by 70%.

The hubris and megalomania required to attempt this is profound.
Trump is a megalomaniac. A malignant narcissist. A sadist and incapable of human emotions or human attachments.

That’s the type of people who have been recruited to carry this plan out. Trump demonstrated repeatedly that human lives, other than his own, are of no concern to him.
Who else could perform this level of diabolical evil to retain power in the hands of the current global oligarchy?

Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell, Vladimir Putin, Semion Mogilevich, Xi Jinping, MbS.

These are men who have absolutely zero compassion, zero ethics, zero sympathy.
The last 5-6 years have demonstrated in abundance that acts of inhuman cruelty are not only their capacity but preference for addressing dissent. They’re preparing for mass death.
Xi and Uighurs, organ harvesting, Hong Kong, Tibet, & Taiwan.

MbS & Yemen, Saudi royals arrested and tortured, Jamal Khashoggi, beheadings, torture and stoning deaths.

Putin and Syria, Yemen, Iran, Venezuela, Novochok poisonings, partnership with Mogilevich, US 2016 election.
And GOP, Trump, Cruz, McConnell. Babies in cages, southern US border immigrants fleeing violence and climate catastrophe, betrayal of Kurds, complicity in Khashoggi murder, Palestinian genocide, covid non response and 600K dead.
These leaders are all responsible for events of mass death. It’s almost like the last 5 years have been some twisted initiation into demonstrating the level of shockingly diabolical violence and indifference to human suffering required to commit global genocide.
The evidence is there. These men are the epitome of the pathological malignant narcissism required to perform such amoral and depraved evil.

It’s terrifying to actually acknowledge this reality.
I’ve been warning about this reality since I figured this out 4 years ago. It’s not conjecture. It’s not a theory.
Like I said, it’s all available in open source. It’s so incredible and stunning that they don’t need to hide the plans. Most instantly rush to deem it delusion, conspiracy theory or disinformation.

But every one of the claims I’ve just made are supported by evidence.
Robert Murphy describes the plan for climate change. It’s procrastination and to fob responsibility for dealing with catastrophic changes on future generations.

When required, write and amplify rationalization of libertarianism and cold indifference to human suffering.

sites01.lsu.edu/faculty/voegel…
It’s all there in black and white. You just have to know where to find it. Mises.org is a good start.
The values that society is based upon are being changed. Those in power are attempting to eradicate the social aspect of our social mammal history and replace it with indifference. To make us less human and more vicious and individualistic.
This is the systemic hierarchy that’s been in control for millennia. Repeatedly they’ve manipulated their way to the top of the hierarchy.
If we intend on surviving this unnatural and despicable outcome planned by conservatives and libertarians, we must implement the Green New Deal and remove these miscreants from power once and for all.
We can reduce global population in far less inhumane methods and adopt sustainable resource use.

But we need the power of government to do that.

We need a majority in provincial and federal governments to protect people from those who would remove us all without blinking.
We need to recognize the actions of conservative governments, their preference for cruelty, austerity and inducement of human suffering.

We must do more than offer verbal support for people who are being stripped of their dignity, earning power and treated as disposable.
We must preserve the essential workers who perform the crucial services for our collective benefit & survival.

We must state our values and demand policy that reflects those values. And we must reject the veneration of inhumanity and indifference.
We also don’t have 2 years to wait to oust an illegitimate government who is harming people with every decision they make.

We must up the ante and protest, dissent, disrupt and disobey illegitimate power.
It’s not just nurses being attacked immediately after a once in a century pandemic. It’s our whole way of life, our civilization, peaceful coexistence and democracy being replaced with paleolibertarian crack pot ideology.
The goals of UCP and like minded conservatives is incitement to violence by starving us of the essentials of life.

Inadequate healthcare means disaster and death for those requiring medical intervention.

It’s time for action, not for expressing thoughts, prayers or sympathy.

Predictably, CBC permits public vilification of Carolyn Bennett by an organized and purpose driven mob.

It’s tiring, anticipated and obvious to those who are informed. Not so much for the sheep who prefer virtue to truth.
Is that insulting to those propagating this disinformation? Probably. But I’m sick of being insulted everyday by white “allies” who don’t know anything about identity politics, indigenous competition for acknowledgement and truth.

Insult gains attention to an important issue.
Minister Bennett has been a tireless advocate for indigenous people for 24 years. Not just since 2012.

Bennett’s advocacy has been consistent and vocalized since she was first elected to parliament in 1997. So minimizing her contribution is a flag this article is BS.

France has a libertarian ethos.

So liberty is central to the French identity.

Macron is making those who refuse vaccinations stay home, instead of punishing those who are protecting themselves and their neighbours.
How novel!

Forcing the fringe resistor to suffer exclusion instead of the most vulnerable who rely on their neighbours to help protect them.

Why can’t we do that here? View liberty from the perspective of the most vulnerable, not the most deluded.
Liberty isn’t the issue. Irresponsibility and abandonment of the social contract is.

Canadian libertarians have twisted the meaning of liberty to connote approval for tyrannical attitudes to dominate the most vulnerable.

This video is a must watch for the informed citizen who is feeling overwhelmed and hopeless.

There is always hope. There have been situations that were decidedly much worse that progressives have overcome. Slavery & robber barons were both much worse than current circumstances.
Knowing history provides you with perspective and the information that overwhelming circumstances can be overcome. History is hope.

But many focus on the difficulties of our immediate circumstances without the benefit of the historical context. Few of us are “big picture” focus.
This creates despair and demoralization.

But if you have a familiarity with human history and the eternal struggle for political agency, it’s easy to discern that this is a setback, but it doesn’t have to define perpetuity. We are in control of that dynamic.

There’s a lot of conservative speculation about Mark Carney running for a seat in parliament in Canada.

What a load of horse pucky and twisted criticism of PMJT!

Carney has partnered with Mariana Mazzucato. He’s not running for MP federal office in Canada.
A quick scan of events they have both attended demonstrates clearly Carney has his eyes on a much bigger prize than being an MP in Canada. He’s helping reform global sustainability efforts of several nations.

Hellooo! People!

What happened Monday? Carpay got caught spying on a Manitoba Chief Justice presiding over a case Carpay was involved in representing.

Harper is telling AB UCP caucus to shut their damn mouths about anything remotely connecting them to Carpay and JCCF.
Except it’s a direct link between Harper and Ted Morton and between Kenney and Carpay.

Long long history between the four men. Going back decades.

Meaning Harper and Kenney and therefore UCP are implicated in this behaviour.
Were the UCP directly involved? Have they received surveillance reports about other public figures who have been followed?

We don’t know.

But we do know it’s doubtful that the tension between Kenney and Carpay was ever real.

With the list of Board members partially revealed, it’s a direct link to UCP and Harper and Kenney.

So how much is the current covid constitutional battle in Alberta a ruse?
Grace Life & Fairview Baptist churches, and Artur Pawlowski just seem a little more preplanned since infractions of covid mandates went unchallenged for so long (like a full year). Then all of a sudden, a harsh crackdown.
Providing the perfect set up for a constitutional challenge.

Ted Morton is a former AB Progressive Conservative that was also close to Harper. In fact he co-authored the “Firewall Letter” with Harper, Tom Flanagan, Rainer Knopff, Andrew Crooks, and
