Just how profoundly insane and breathtakingly dumb is @RepMTG? Let’s start with breaking down this entire absolutely astoundingly INSANE statement re: her being sued by @MeidasTouch and “censorship” (Thread).

“Imagine this,” she begins—as if she’s about to segue into another Q fairytale about Jewish space lasers or lizard people—then proceeds to tell an actual true story about how she got sued by @MeidasTouch, but packs it full of lies, false accusations, and absolute lunacy on crack

First, @MeidasTouch is not a “communist PAC,” Marjorie. You don’t know what communism or socialism or Marxism is. You just use these are buzzwords that will trigger the amygdala of every MAGA nutjob listening to your insanity.

.@MeidasTouch is a progressive democratic organization formed by a brilliant group of brothers from Long Island dedicated to combatting the corruption of the @GOP as well as speaking truth to power. And yes, this includes exposing the walking clownshow that is YOU, Marjorie.

The part about them suing you for blocking them on twitter was true. The part about this being because they were “saying horrible nasty things to you” is not. They merely mentioned the horrible nasty things YOU were saying (and continue to say) on a daily basis.

“So they sued me and you wanna know why? Because they claimed they couldn’t see what I was saying. By being banned from my twitter page, I was stopping their 1st Amendment because they couldn’t see what I was saying.” (These words were uttered by a sitting U.S. Congresswoman).

Yes, Marjorie. You were “stopping their first Amendment,” not by infringing upon their freedom of speech, but by denying them the opportunity to see the lies you were posting to your hundreds of thousands of followers daily and respond to them.

Judges have repeatedly ruled that The First Amendment prohibits an official who uses a social media account for government purposes from excluding people from an “otherwise open online dialogue” because they say things that the official finds objectionable.

.@RepMTG goes on, “So they couldn’t participate. But then twitter suspended me for 12 hours so you know what that really means? That bans everyone from seeing what I had to say. So should this PAC sue twitter now?” (this woman is A SITTING MEMBER OF CONGRESS)

Marjorie, you were banned from twitter for 12 hours because you posted multiple false statements re: COVID that violated twitter’s Terms of Service re: disinformation. It had NOTHING TO DO WITH @MeidasTouch. But no, they aren’t suing twitter over you getting banned for lying.

She ends with this: “Should people sue Twitter now because they’re banning my voice? You see it’s a hypocrisy. And these are the things that we can’t allow to stand.”

THIS WOMAN IS A SITTING MEMBER OF CONGRESS

.@RepMTG; the entire point of banning you for 12 hours was so that no one would be able to see what you had to say. This is what’s called CONSEQUENCES for your misbehavior or violation of the rules, which is clearly something you have rarely if ever faced in your whole life.

No, this is not “a hypocrisy” and no, people shouldn’t sue twitter over it. Judges have repeatedly found it a violation of individuals’ constitutional rights to be blocked by politicians on twitter. Twitter banning you for violating their TOS is in no way the same thing.

One other minor detail you forgot to mention, Marjorie, is that the @MeidasTouch brothers WON this lawsuit against you; forcing you to pay a $10,000 settlement which they donated to two nonprofit groups.

This story is important because it demonstrates the utter unfitness of @RepMTG for elected office of any kind. She is disqualified by having no grasp of the gov’t or the constitution. She introduced articles of impeachment against a President BEFORE THEY TOOK OFFICE.

.@RepMTG has:
—Helped incite an insurrection that killed 8 & injured hundreds
—Said that the Sandy Hook shooting that killed 28 students & teachers was fake
—Endorses racist anti-semitic conspiracy theories
—Incited death threats against her colleagues

But yet she’s always the 1st to claim victimhood; that SHE is being oppressed; harassed; mistreated; and censored, when it’s the opposite. Twitter banning her for 12 hours was not sufficient. She should be permanently banned and expelled from Congress for sedition against America

This is because you are a threat to the national security of this nation. Your presence in the House legitimizes a conspiracy group that has inspired or committed countless acts of domestic terrorism in the U.S. And you helped incite Jan 6th and bragged about it

.@RepMTG belongs in prison, not the House of Representatives. @RepMTG will be the first and last member of Q-Anon to ever step foot inside our Capitol if I have anything to say about it. I know she is being investigated along with @RepBoebert for their roles in 1/6.

If you engage in sedition against the U.S. government, you are automatically ineligible to continue holding office under the disqualification clause of the 14th Amendment (Section 3). I move for the immediate removal of @RepMTG from the House of Representatives on these grounds.
