3/ The bill to which I refer is the #SAFEAct. Republicans killed it and Trump was happy to let them do so. 
4/ Elections are mostly presumed valid in the US. I & others fought this by advocating evidence-based elections. The #SAFEAct was crucial to that strategy, but Lindell’s party of crooks blocked it. If Rs wants to agree to evidence-based elections for 2022, great. But they don’t.
5/ Instead, the GOP wants to continue avoiding meaningful audits of their own wins, while inciting violence over their losses w/ lies. Georgia’s GOP, for instance, wants to audit just one race every two years chosen by the Secretary of State (not at random), which is pathetic.
